Great computer!

Whilst not a complete n00b when it comes to PCs, I am not massively clued-up either and the time was long iverdue for replacing my PC. I decided to go for a good, reasonably future-proof gaming rig that would be nicely versatile yet still fit within my budget.

Some google searching turned up a few gaming computer suppliers, one of which was UK Gaming Computers. They seemed to have the most straightforward website and whilst price comparisons at first glance were a little unfavourable it seems other sites are using lower quality parts and offer a worse service!

I initially contacted UK Gaming Computers about a computer they had on the site, though it was over my budget. Damon was very helpful and explained how to get a very similar spec PC and get it within budget. I set this up on the site and ordered it.

Communications after that were very helpful, letting you know what was happening to the computer every few days and every thing was well on track and within their quoted time estimates. The computer arrived at the time booked with the courier and was well packaged.

Sadly, there was a minor hiccup where the power cable for the optical drive had come loose inside the case. Damon was again very informative and directed me over the phone how to fix the problem. He was also able to tell me where to find directions for setting up the on-board sound in the PC to work with my surround sound speakers.

I am very pleased with the PC so far - I haven't tested it to the max it can do but everything has been running so smoothly, quickly - and very quietly! - that I look forward to lots of gaming hours with this machine!
