Absolute joke I don't know where these positive comments of come from must be employees from overclockers because they are full of lies and bs example the website looks good prices are reasonable but as soon as you order something it all starts to go downhill I ordered the GTX 980 Ti £580 ordered early hours of Thursday morning expecting to get it on Friday but guess what nearly a week later still nothing I did find them on 2 occasions with empty promises that it would be delivered the next day that was bs phone them today because they have decided to send me an email saying they are refunding me which has totally baffled me as I have been waiting to receive my goods the reason for that being ups decided to return it to them with no answer why more bs I'm absolutely fuming they have cost me time and money another example I ordered a monitor from them before and when I purchased it it did say on the website at least 10 in stock but after a week of no delivery iPhone them up only to be told there is none in stock so I had to wait another week it's always the same with this company probably the worst company in the UK to deal with it's an absolute joke it should be closed down and they should all be sacked because they don't know how to treat their customers they lie to you and give you the runaround absolute joke I strongly advise you not to order anything from this company

Great customer service from OCUK as always, I had a broken MSI 280X and OCUK collected it from me, sent it back to MSI on my behalf and returned a replacement again all free of charge. Highly recommended and special thanks to the advisor for sorting it all out :)

Overclockers UK always go above and beyond with support, I buy with confidence from Overclockers UK as I know that the after sales support is second to none. I have been buying from Overclockers UK for many years and will continue to do so for many years to come. All of my orders come on time and well packaged. The free Haribo is always welcome as well! :) The person we dealt with in particular has been helpful with a recent support case I had open, and as usual gave excellent support. Thanks!

I've bought a number of things from OverClockers UK, in fact, almost everything computer related I buy from them, including my computer itself (Titan Goliath). The card arrived one day late and I was refunded the P&P costs for that which satisfied me. The card it seems was faulty, they RMA'd it for me and it was returned unfaulty. I'm still awaiting further results as to the truth of these matters since everything points to a faulty card, OcUK says it is not. However, I've had pretty good customer service throughout. I've been using the forum and webnote, I'm unsure how they are over the phone, but through these services they have been okay. I'd give OcUK 4/5. Except from this card I've never had a problem. I love their website, I find it far more user friendly than most other companies and I think it just has a nice look and feel to it, it's what attracted me to OcUK in the first place. The products are usually very good and prices are mostly cheap. On top of that they have a friendly, active community on their forum.

OcUK are truly awesome, their Customer Service and Website is really 2nd to none. They are always available via phone or forum and can almost always answer your questions. Their shop have one of the widest ranges in the UK and they actually do deliver when they say they will. I've used OcUK loads of times over the years and ultimately the only reason that I've not done has been because a normal retail item could be sourced elsewhere cheaper. However, the supplied products are always in great condition and they have an amazing relationship with their preferred courier and that helps when things do rarely go wonky. After-case is fantastic.. whether its a dumb question like "I've just ordered a CPU, where does it go".. or more complex advise about Overclocking or water-cooling. The online forums have a good level of community driven guidance as well as employee input. If your looking for things, that are a little beyond plugging it in and going.. then OcUK will look after you long after your purchase.

I love the OCUK website. It is just simple and straight-forward. It allows me to quickly price up options and browse.

Recently purchased an Hazro IPS TFT, Asus P8Z68-V GEN3 motherboard, Antec H20 920 cooler and HyperX Genesis memory from Overclockers Uk. My experience with the Overclockers Uk customer services has been excellent. The initial TFT sent had backlight bleeding out the box and I filed a webnote requesting an RMA. They requested some pictures to confirm, this was expected and allows them to assess the actual fault, so not a concern for me at the time. Once pictures were uploaded to confirm the backlight bleed, they were quick to issue an RMA number. After a short discussion via webnote they even offered to have their courier collect the TFT and send out a new replacement which was great gesture (though it was within the first 7 days and faulty out the box so expected but communications exchange and RMA experience was hassle free as it should be for genuine cases). Picked up next day IIRC and replacement arrived with me a few days later. My second purchase was for the remainder of the items, motherboard, memory and cooler. With the motherboard I'd made a rash decision to purchase a LGA1366 chipset and few hours later had changed my mind after concluding that LGA1156 Sandybridge platform was more future proof and would serve me better in the long term. After a late post (post midnight) in the Customer Services subforum I had a reply from 5UB early next morning acknowledging my request and stated he would update the order and duly refunded the difference between my alternative selection on both the motherboard and memory components. In addition I didn't lose out on the free delivery offer that had expired at midnight before. Again components were despatched on the the same day and I'd received them the next. I would prefer free delivery on say items above a certain price threshold rather than it being a privelege only for loyal forum member especially if you are not a heavy poster. That would tempt me and I'm quite sure many other customers to purchase more frequently or exclusively from them rather than shopping around and increase their return customer base. However they do have competitive prices and up to date inventory of items and constant daily/weekly special offers and frequent new item/stock special offers at a much reduced price, so ideal for those who are keen to purchase latest products. An excellent service and product range. Their site is easy to navigate too and a lot of effort, both in technical configuration and management building rapport through frequent interaction and offers, gives the forum the edge and something that you want to be involved with. There are to add many experienced and regular posters who are helpful with queries and advice. Overclockers UK thus provide a complete and thorough experience for customers ranging from enthusiasts, avid gamers and newbies too. In summary, Overclockers UK is a trusted, techinically aware and very much a customer focused specialist computer outlet. Highly recommended for those looking to purchase from them. Hopefully you will find purchasing online from them a positive experience as I've done. Outstanding service overall, highly satisfied and would purchase from them in future without hesitation.

I ordered CPU, RAM and a case from OcUK on Friday for Saturday delivery. The courier company didn't deliver the package on the correct day but OcUK refunded the delivery and arranged for it to be delivered to a new address. Great service as always and would use again and again!

Bought two mother boards plus supporting components. Both worked but one would only boot with only two memory slots populated (only boot with 4GB instead of the 8GB). Phoned with the problem and asked to return the suspect faulty board and get a refund, and buy another, as they were now out of stock of these boards. They said yes, and raised the RMA for the suspect board. Immediately bought another board costing £30 more, £120 in total. When they received the suspect board, they tested it and found no fault, and sent it back to me. They then charged me £12 for testing and £9 for sending it back to me. Hang on. They said they would refund me and the RMA said

Motherboard arrived in an opened box(?) with damaged pins, meaning I cannot return it apparently !! I HAVE NEVER EVEN USED THE BOARD! Obviously they are cherry picking good boards for the "pre overclocked" systems they sell, and in doing so, damaged my board and WILL NOT REFUND. I was put on hold on a premium rate telephone number for 15 minutes before they put the phone down on me. I don't know a lot about computers and was looking forward to this, and I have essentially been ripped off and lied too and treated badly by a well known company. I have been reading on forums about OCUK customer service and it looks like events like this are too common. Luckily, I can try a chargeback from my credit card company but this SHOULD NOT HAPPEN.

I purchased the following card: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-123-MS&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1752 before Christmas, when it turned up it was not the correct card and no dirt3 was in the box.. I contacted Overclockers via webnote only to be told that correct card was sent to me (they sent a bog standard one). i phoned them up and they said they would RMA the card but i'd have to do the leg work by taking the card to the post office and sending it back. i sent it back via the cheapest option available which come to £17.95 Overclockers turned around and said they would only refund £12.50, i submitted a complaint on their site as it was not mentioned to me on the phone or anywhere in the RMA information and was told they would refund the money. After waiting two days for them to book in the card they contacted me asking if i was still after a refund although i clearly stated that i wanted the card i had ordered. due to the bank holidays i had to wait a great deal of time for them to send the replacement card, this time it was the correct card but still no Dirt3 as advertised. I contacted them about the dirt3 code and did not get a response. I installed the card but it was running very hot (reaching over 100oC) i reseated the cooler as it was loose which brought the temperature down but it was still getting to 100oC on full load. I contacted OCUK advising them i want it replacing but got told i had voided the warranty by reseating the cooler although this was again not stated in the warranty information that i could not do this. I am going to contact MSI direct to see what they say and if i have no joy i will contact trading standards and my credit card company to get the money refunded. Customer services at overclockers is shocking, i will never be using them again thats for sure. If anyone has any sense they won't either.

Bought Dell Ultrasharp U2311H 23” which is a premium priced monitor with extra warranty however it came faulty with a vertical line across the screen. I was trying to RMA the screen with OcUK however they refused any help and told me to contact Dell directly as they said that any RMA would be with Dell. Obviously I was very unhappy and stressed about the whole situation and at the end ended up with a refurbished screen from Dell as they told me that the screen was manufactured 6 months ago. This is not the first time I was let down by OcUK, the first time was when I bought a full PC from OcUk many years ago which had a fault, eventually it got resolved but the whole situation took almost a month to resolve. I’ve been bitten twice now so next time I will not purchase from OcUK again and will not recommend this shop ever again to any of my friends. Don’t even try to call them, I have tried over 50 times and never got through, lines are always engaged. Also any complains I have made with them were unanswered.

the worst e-shop i have dealt with. rude advisers, and charge you a premium calling its phone line. make you wait for a LONG time (30 minutes), phone bill i got, i was fuming. prices are bad compared to other e-shops. refused a refund at first, making excuses, very dodgy dealer. i insisted, and warned them that i will sue them (under distance selling regulations act), then they refunded. never deal with them, there are much much better e-shops out there.

Absolutely disgusting service from Overclockers.co.uk Earlier in the month I placed an order on Overclockers for a Hauppage HD PVR. 2 days later the parcel arrives. The outer cardboard packaging was damaged and this is the box the item is in not the shipping box. As this was a christmas present for my Son I called Overclockers on the first number only to be told that I had to email in my query by way of Webnote. Nobody ever responded to the webnote so I called again the premium rate number and was told I needed to ring another number. Overclockers seem to work in different departments and there is no internal-transfer facility. Everytime I rang up nobody could help me. One of the agents told me that it was \"not the norm\" to accept a return on a damaged box but as a gesture of good will he would process the RMA. I'm not even going to carry on telling you what happened next....it took 2 weeks to get my money back. Avoid this company at all costs it's run by a couple of spotty teenagers. Comment

I had a motherboard arrive exactly the same way, this is the first and last time I'll ever use this company.
(Not to mention DPD, the courier they use, apparently called at my house to deliver and nobody was in - which I don't understand as I've been off work for two weeks - plus, DPD did not leave a card).

recently built a new system ordering from few different retailers OCUK being one of them, had excellent advice available via their online forum which is well populated by enthusiasts, customers and staff alike and is probably the busiest and most technically proficient source of information for custom built and overclocked computers in the UK. I have been a customer of OCUK since circa 2002 and using their technical forums since november 2004 and yes like all companies i've had hardware DOA etc as you would expect with almost a decade of purchasing from them and many itemsbut i've never experienced any problems having issues sorted and their communications and service have been second to none

Hi Foxtrot!
I see you post regularly on Overclockers forum, as can be seen here:

Interesting that forum users leave good reviews for the companies who give them discounts, isn't?
Written on: 10/01/2012
i make no secret of my use of the overclockers forums, and i'm sure if you took the time to read my review properly you would notice that i mention that as one of the major factors behind me using the company, is their online forum I dont get what your trying to imply with the get given discounts line? I receive free shipping from overclockers, but then again so does the majority of the active forum users of which there are approx 13 thousand of us. There has been occasions when i have paid a higher price for a product from ocuk just because i know i can rely on their aftersales services and support which is second to none

Ordered a XFX 850w PSU on a weekend and paid for NEXT DAY DELOIVERY, expecting it to be sent out on the following day, Monday for delivery on Tuesday. Tuesday came and no sign of item yet, not even an email saying what is happening. Checked OCUK website and it says "still in the warehouse queue" . Called OCUK and asked what happened, and apparently it went out of stock even when it showed in stock when I ordered. So I asked for a refund, but then the person on the phone put me on hold, then said it was now in stock, and will be delivered the fnext day. PSU arrived on the following day, Wednesday. Packaging was appalling, comparing with amazon, at least amazon packs items in a box, be it just a box that fits the item. OCUK packaging was just a plastic bag literally a plastic bag with no protection, not even one of those bubble type things. I would look elsewhere next time when buying items because of this, and one main reason is their prices are always higher than other etailers like scan.co.uk, amazon, ebuyer, etc.

I am keeping my identity hidden and some of the specifications (such as name of system etc) will be changed as I am currently still dealing with them and don't want any come-backs if they see this review. Overclockers.co.uk is like playing a game of minesweeper; its hit and miss. There is no doubt that in my experience there prices are good but their customer service is an absolute disgrace. I wanted to change a specification on a custom built system that I ordered, before it was built and shiped. So I phoned soon after I entered my credit card details and confirmed the purchase. I wanted to change a set of green fans for blue ones as there was no option on the website. I phoned and got no answer after 20 mins. So I emailed them to tell them what I wanted. I got the most unhelpful response ever, which was:

Yeah have to agree, used 'em for years suddenly theve gone all funny. Good idea about amazon never thought to buy hardware from them. Looked at some of past positive post and they do seem to have been written by someone in the company. Things change I suppose and there are plenty of other companies out there. You would have thought with things being so tough they would be trying harder. It is rude to charge for phone calls and then leave you on the line for so long.

I hope you get your money back from them. They just don't care, and blame all problems on their customers.
