Having struggled on over the last couple of years with an ancient Mesh tower PC which had definitely reached the limits of its capabilities I decided to treat myself to a new machine. It would have to fulfill my somewhat odd requirements as I live in a rather bijou bachelor apartment and space is at a premium. Small form factor was therefore essential, as was decent graphics capability since my HDTV doubles up as my monitor. I started to look around the big box stores, found plenty of PC's which would do the job but all of them without exception came with Windows 8 - which I didn't want! Eventually and in total frustration I punched 'small form factor Windows 7' into trusty old Google search and Arbico's name popped up. Went to the page on their website and liked the look and price of what was on offer - spec was just right, and all components listed were from recognised and trusted manufacturers. Quick measure up confirmed that the PC would fit into my workspace perfectly. A browse through some positive customer testimonials was enough to sway the deal so I went ahead and placed an order.

A series of emails then ensued from Arbico, starting with one from the sales department suggesting several inexpensive upgrades which I found very helpful. Remaining emails reported on the progress of the assembly and test of the machine, again very encouraging and reinforcing my guess that here was a company who value their customers. Delivery was duly arranged, and have to say I was disappointed with the courier company involved as they didn't turn up - no fault on Arbico's part I hasten to add. Fired off emails to the couriers and also to Arbico, within 10 minutes I had Arbico phone me that they had spoken to the couriers and that delivery was rearranged for another suitable day. Now that was impressive - they didn't have to do that but in my case I reckon it was the 'extra mile' that makes all the difference between good service and great service.

Delivery day finally came, courier on the dot this time complete with well packed computer. Connected up, registered W7 in no time and was delighted to see a total absence of bloatware. I was able to set everything up to my taste, rather than have it set up in a way that someone else thought it should be. My lovely shiny new Arbico box is now humming away quietly in the background as I write this and I am one very satisfied customer.

They may not be as cheap as the big box shifters but they know their business and carry it out very well - you get what you pay for in this world and the small premium for custom build in Arbico's case is really good value. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this company.
