hartford furniture an absolute nightmare to build

My parents (both in there late sixtys) went to next in kirkcaldy fife to look for a sideboard and matching tv unit,they both like the hartford small sideboard and corner tv unit. The girl in store advised they were self assembley but were very easy as she had built the ones in store in 20 minutes. WHAT A LOAD OF LIES!!!! First of all it is a two person job for each item and there is so many pieces to each item that it takes more than 20 minutes just to sort the stuff that comes out the box and check it off.
I ended up having to go out to build these items. i have built many self assembly items of furniture but nothing as bad as these two items.the amount of parts is a complete joke and they aint cheap. They are flat packed as it means next can buy them cheap and sell to you for as much profit as they can make. The items both look good when finished but never again would i or any of the family buy flat pack furniture from next.
