4 months ago I made a large order from Menlook of clothing for my boyfriends christmas presents. One t-shirt did not fit him so I contacted menlook to request to return that particular t-shirt. They seemed happy for me to return the item for a full refund and provided me with a return label but did advise me that a refund make take up to 21 days. It has now been over 3 months since I sent the item back using the provided labels and I have not received a refund or even had acknowledgement of the return from Menlook. Every time I try to contact Menlook on this matter they do not answer their phone lines and they ignore every email I send them. Prior to taking my money Menlook seemed very professional and I had no concerns with ordering with them, however as soon as it has come to them giving my money back they have been the complete opposite and impossible to get hold of. I am now in the process of taking legal action against Menlook in order to retrieve my money back, as they have left me with no other option, as suggested by my bank.

“Terrible Customer Service”

Returned an item 6 weeks ago in UK, still awaiting a refund, still no response to 5 email enquiries in relation to the (lack of) refund. States that you will receive a reply within 2 days but I have been waiting over 2 weeks for a response. Phoned their support phone number.. guess what.. 'temporarily unavailable'.. Still awaiting some sort of feedback, not to mention my refund. Very annoyed!

“Rude and careless customer service representative ”

Put much higher price then you actually paid for the item on custom declaration form , and they put this wrong price in Euro. As a result US custom put high duties. DHL hold the package, calling to customer service gives you impression that company run by the rude and careless people,who are definitely ruining the reputation of Menlook. Advertised 20 % coupons impossible to apply . Reading all recent reviews will give you one advice - just avoid business with Menlook. Or may be you are looking for the headache? ! Whith so many choices, Menlook will be at the end of the list. Just quick apologie of the customer service representative would avoid all this dissatisfaction ,but she choose rudeness and demonstration of the power. Will this impove company performance in any way? Bad experience !!!

“slightly concerend due to reviews, but happy in the end.”

After reading reviews about Menlook some of which were negative, I was slightly nervous to order a jacket just before christmas that Menlook had reduced in their sale. However, it was such a good deal that I decided to take the risk. Not only was the jacket reduced in price, but I also got £15 off for a first order. Too good to be true I wondered? Well, ultimately the jacket arrived all ok 4 days later and I was very happy with it. So Menlook delivered exactly what they promised. However, I would say that communication with their customer service department and the Menlook website, left me feeling that the negative reviews initially were justified. First of all, the website said my order was 'in preparation' for 3 days after I had placed my order. I learnt later that the jacket had actually been shipped after 2 days, but the website didn't reflect this at all. I also never received any tracking email or confirmation of shipping. On the 3rd day after my order, my order appeared to have been cancelled in the 'my account' section of the website! ?? I was assured by the customer service people that this wasn't actually the case. When I made calls to the customer service people, they didnt seem to know what was happening in the warehouse. I understand the warehouse is in France, and I got the impression the customer service people were in the UK. Perhaps they didn't have much more knowledge of what was happening at the warehouse than I did. On the positive, I can say that the customer service people I spoke to were very polite, and I was in telephone and email communication with them. And the jacket that I received was well packed and exactly what I wanted, in its original plastic packing from the manufacturer with tags attached. So thanks Menlook, I will use you again, but please give some attention to your website and communication. I can understand how this might make people give bad reviews. In the end for me I was happy, and very happy with the jacket.

“Fine until you need to return something!”

Awful returns system takes weeks and weeks to get a refund! They offer a free CollectPlus service but this is apparently only to a U.K. Pick up point from whence they VERY occasionally collect and ship the items back to France. I've contacted them via their website three times in the last four weeks and not had a single response! NONE of this returns information is on their UK website.... I've checked very carefully and it says nothing about having to wait till your item arrives back in France ( I could have walked to France by now!) steer well clear of this company!

“Beware”

Ordered items and they arrived in a few days. Checked my bank statement and found they have charged me twice! contacted them just, for them to tell me i ordered it twice even though i only have one email with one order number, and it has been delivered!!! I have only received the items I originally ordered and why would they take money out AFTER i have SUPPOSEDLY received the goods!!!!.....Seems like rubbish customer service and doubt i will get my money back!!....check you bank statements folks!!!!

I felt I had to leave a review for Menlook, to say how delighted I was with the fabulous customer service I received with my recent order. The product was delivered very quickly, was packed well and every aspect of the order was completely faultless. I can't speak for the experience of others leaving poor reviews, but I have no reservations in recommending Menlook to anyone. Great products, competitive prices, quick delivery and responsive customer service..... it really doesn't get any better!

“Avoid - slow to refund orders (still waiting)”

Ordered a bag for shipment to the Channel Islands. The website allowed me to select Jersey as the country, yet I received an email a week after ordering to say they were processing my return. I never received the item and contacted Menlook. They stated they do not ship to Jersey, and would refund me. This was frustrating, but acceptable. Two weeks later, I am still awaiting my refund. I would avoid Menlook and not recommend them.

They sent me the wrong sized shoes. I sent them two messages via their account feedback process. Heard nothing for two weeks despite them saying they would answer within two days. I then used the account to arrange a return via their collect plus service. Two weeks go by and no answer and no refund. Today I recieved a message saying sorry they’re been busy! Please can I take some photographs of the shoes... errr, I’ve returned the goods via your service two weeks ago, how as an commerce retailer can you not know that! Seriously! They are a mess. Sounds like they’ve launched into the UK market with out really sorting their distribution and UK after sales care.

Impossible to communicate and correspond with these guys. They don't even sell you the product it comes from France. No returns labels offered so it is going to cost me £13 to swap. I was made unaware of all of this. Do not buy. Compared to my usual online shopping experiences this is untruthful. Inefficient and very costly. Avoid

“take money by deception ”

i ordered three pairs of jeans to only get one, i informed menlook and the asked if my parcel was damaged which i said no to (being honest) they said they looked into this and the parcel weigh being sent was 2.3kg so i must have got three pairs of jeans, i again said i got one, they then sent a picture of two pairs of jeans in a box and said this was my orders claim that was that and they could take my order no further, shocking service and if i had lied and said the package was damaged would they have given me the other two pairs?

“Will Never Use Again. Worst Service Ever. ”

I ordered a jacket online that was £640. As is usual, the bank freezes that money immediately so that it is in your account for the purchase. So far, all straight forward as they had offered a jacket for sale at a price that I accepted and I completed the order. The next day I receive an email asking for personal documents: a copy of my driving licence and a copy of my bank card. I understand that this is for ID checks but I have never been asked for this from any other retailer and I was never told that this would be the case when offered the option of next day delivery for £13, which obviously could not be done when they were asking for documentation before they would process the order. Having sent through the documents, I was simple sent an email 3 days later saying that the order had been cancelled as their insurance would not accept the documents. I am a lawyer and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the documents. If they were not clear enough they could have said but no reason at all was given. When I called up I was talked to and treated like a criminal and simply told it was their right to cancel an order at whim. I was therfore left for a week with the funds frozen in my account, no jacket and having given my perosnal details to a company I do not trust one bit. If you want to avoid these sort of things happening, go to another retailer as there are too many reviews like this for this to be a one off. In conclusion - shocking example of customer service and I will never use them again. We need fewer of these types of firms online to have proper secure online shopping

Attracted to their offer of 10% discount if you subscribe to their newsletter.However,after buying a tracksuit for £181 they refused to give the discount.Complained to them several times but got nowhere.Very poor approach to customer-beware if you buy anything from them!

“Glitch they say will refund me as can't complete my order ”

I ordered £400 worth of clothing and shoes I had a discount code and my total was £150 so I payed this Friday via debit card the company then emailed me Saturday saying there had been a error and they can't complete my order due to GLITCH . They said I would receive a full refund within 48hours the payment I made to them cleared on Monday it's And I still haven't received my full refund I emailed on Monday at 6am it's now Tuesday 6.30pm and Still no reply to my email ?? I am going to the bank tomorrow to open up a dispute about this I want my money back or I want my order ! I will not be left £150 out of pocket DISGRACEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE I rang there customer service today 1hour on the phone and no answer just automated service saying they were very busy

“Totally incompetent”

I received a jacket from menlook as Christmas present. There was a fault with stitching so I tried to arrange an exchange. The online form only allowed an exchange to a different size. I called the number for the France but nobody picked between Christmas or new year. Either they on holiday or on strike. In the new year I got through to someone who told me that they didn't have a defined process for exchanges for the same size. Despite, this I arranged pick up through UPS and customer service person personally assured me that they had reserved another large size as replacement. The replacement came after a few days and surprise, surprise. IT WAS THE WRONG SIZE! Completely incompetent staff & processes. I've asked for a full refund as don't want to deal with them anymore. Perhaps they should look at the reviews about them on this site.

“Rubbish- Sort It Out - Extra Charge for using PayPal”

Ordered from here and like others am still waiting for my parcel to arrive. The tracking says it is still in France I could of push biked over to France and back to collect the item 3 times in the time I have waited. Beware they will swindle you out of money as a previous review said they charge you an exchange rate and I received the same rubbish answer for the Menlook customer service team that the order states it's in euros. It's strange that they like to keep saying this as I have screen shots of every page of my checkout and at no point does the price change from GBP to euros and yet when I said to the member of staff I spoke too over the phone I will email them the evidence she said that she knew what I was looking at and she didn't need to see my screenshots. The. I was told that it's says in their T&C about it but yet another lie because all it says is that they accept two forms of payment which are PayPal and credit cards and that's it, not an mention of an extra charge! Customer service level is very poor and the staff on the other end of the phone were quite rude spoke French to their colleagues whilst on the phone to you and told lies they lady said she had to just ask here supervisor something and when she came back I said could I speak to her supervisor and her response was " she's not here" I'm sorry I thought you just had to ask her something. Bottom Line DONT BOTHER! Lets hope they get my order correct otherwise another phone call and yet another bad review will be posted!

“Really Poor Service”

Don't believe the returns policy for menlook.com. They will make sure you only get offered an exchange, they will never refund your money even if you return the items within 7 days. They will just say they received it later than the 7 day timeframe. The item I bought was a Jacket which came damaged also. Still did not refund! Don't waste your time on Menlook.com
