“Refund refused”

I bought a part costing nearly £1000. When it arrived it was the wrong part. Renparts arranged collection for a refund. They confirmed the return was received. However after repeated promises no refund has been received aftet 3 months. I now have started a CCJ and contacted BBC Rip off Britain. Avoid this company

“Sent wrong item then I needed to pay for cost to return”

I was needing a spare tyre for my Renault Laguna. I advertised on the website "1stchoice.co.uk" A website that specialises in hosting the sales of recycled vehicle parts, what I was needing, being sure to input the size I was needing clearly as 225/45R17. Renparts answered my advert with offering Wheel (Spare) Current wheel 225/45R17 for £73.50. What they sent me was a space saver, numbered 135/80R17, clearly not what I was looking for. And at a price you may expect to pay for a recycled proper wheel, not a recycled space saver. I contacted them, they tried to tell me this was what I had ordered, but after I made clear it was not they agreed to have it collected and issue a refund. They didn't issue a refund I never heard from them until I chased it up. They claimed to have sent a courier, but I didn't see one. They then said that if I wanted a refund I would need to return the space saver. I paid £14.40 to have it returned to them and received a refund. But it meant I had to pay £14.40 for their mistake. I had offered tto dispose of the space saver for them but they demanded it be returned if I wanted a refund. I have written to Trading Standards about them.

“APPALLING COMPANY”

We ordered a subframe from you on 20/5/22 for a Jaguar. The part delivered was incorrect for our car. We have been promised a refund, but every time I phone there is a different excuse. No-one in accounts department. Boss is away and can't authorise credit etc etc. Have phoned and e-mailed numerous times and still no closer to receiving our refund. Appalling company to deal with.

“*** AVOID *** ”

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I was sold parts that were incomplete and incorrect. I spoke on the telephone to a member of staff  who said they understood what I needed and I even gave serial numbers and part numbers. Clearly informed that I needed complete parts (I have proof to show this is what I asked for) Incomplete parts arrived missing important brackets and mounts and not one but two incorrect radios. When I asked for the missing part I was given an attitude and told they would collect everything the next day. This was impossible as I was away and not had time to repack. Still they ignored me and are refusing to accept return for the wrong parts. I’m £145 out of pocket and have now gone through my bank to recover funds. Absolute joke of a company and immature staff who ignore you. Please feel free to ask for the proofs I have screenshots and pictures as well as emails.

“Avoid at all costs!!”

This is a dreadful company to deal with and I would advise any potential customer to avoid them at all costs. They quoted me for some central locking parts for my daughter's Renault Clio and I subsequently contacted them by phone, was assured that the parts required were in stock and would be delivered within 2-3 days, and paid by credit card. When they did not arrive I contacted Renparts and began a very long and irritating series of communications with their manager who consistently made excuses. This went on for between two and three weeks until I finally received completely the wrong parts!! I subsequently obtained a full refund through my credit card company but this was no real compensation for the whole irritaing and time consuming process of trying to deal with this set of people.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! Stay very clear of this company, RenParts is in liquidation and is now trading as RenPart Europe Ltd, i requested a gearbox and was fobbed of for 3 months and in the end they sent me a gearbox that was so bad the one i took out of my old one was in a far far far better shape, i am not sure how that got the 5 stars reviews transferred over and i do not believe its true as i am sure its all fake. I used parts gateway and the concept is great and would use them again as i did eventuality get my gearbox from a different dealer within 24 hours. RenParts Ltd/RenPart Europe concept is to say they have the parts and take your money then send you over a dispatch note and then it starts "" oh i will look in to it why you have not received it" a week passes " still with transport will be with you by the end of the week" week passes " oh its been lost in transit i will locate you a new one will come back to you" i hope you can see were this is going and how this plays out to " i am sorry i can not get you one i will have have to refund you but just give me a couple of days as the owner hates giving refunds" and the same process starts to get your refund. as i did say i went back on PartsGate way and found a gearbox from others but when i put a new search RenParts pop up again advertising a gearbox for £475.00 the director is the girl whom takes your call...

“Late and missing parts ”

Waited almost 2 weeks for engine to arrive after being told it would be a few days. It arrived missing parts that it was listed with. Have been chasing said parts for 3 weeks and still not received them. Was offered a refund but the refund wont cover the parts that I need to finish the job so I'm stuck waiting for them to source and send the parts.

“Warning beware Renparts”

Do not buy from Renparts. I have never written a review before but I feel I must warn people about the terrible service and the trouble that dealing with Renparts can cause you. I ordered and paid for a gearbox on 24th May and it has taken me until the 20th June to get my money back. I have waited weeks for a gearbox I was desperate for, yet when I ring up I am fobbed off and they do not return my calls.Finally they tell me that the gearbox, on a pallet, is lost in the post. These people will take your money for a part they don't have and then tell you it takes up to ten days for your refund to come through. But they took my money immediately. Only when I took this up with Visa did the money return. Terrible business and a terrible way to treat customers.

“3x wrong parts came. ”

I ordered some parts in December but multiple times I either received the wrong parts, the right parts but broken or so worn they are unusable. This happend despite emailing him with a renault diagram with arrows pointing to the parts, pictures of same item required from google images and giving correct Renault part numbers?? First 2 attemps the complete wrong item came. On the 3rd attempt 1 correct part came but was broken 2 others in same package were wrong. I asked politely for a refund. 1 week later no refund. I called back to be told they were now sending correct items which wasn't broken yet not what I wanted!! I said I want them to send pictures and wait for me to accept before sending then or as requested refund me. 4 days and 2 more phone calls later the parts just arrived with no email. These were so badly worn I've given up and thrown in a skip. I've lost my money, spent hours on the phone and miltiple emails. I'll now go main dealer. Total 13 weeks of hassle and calls. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

Ordered a gearbox on 1st september was told upto 5 days as gearbox was still in car didnt get gearbox so rang ren parts to b told one of workers had a car crash would get it monday.monday came no gearbox blamed it on courier.i recrived gearbox wednesday only to b wrong gearbox.then was told wrong tag put on box.would receive another one by the friday but nothing so i rang again no 4th gear on box they removed so asked for refund was told courier would pick gearbox up monday 17th nothing so rang courier 18th to b told its not even booked.so bk to ren parts again to b told by someone else he dont no what he is doing he is standing in for the lady but could confirm no booking was made to pick up gearbox and lady would ring me but nothing.rang again today 19th to b told man i spoke to was the other manager but he couldnt do a booking or a refund lol.been told courier will b here today but nothing as yet.this is now into 3rd week now just give me my money bk.DEFINATLY A TRADING STANDARDS ISSUE IF REFUND NOT SORTED IN NEXT COUPLE DAYS

My story is far too long to write in detail on here but, i short, bought a PART, promised within 2-3 working days, constantly lied to about its whereabouts, told it was 'lost in transit' which is absolute rubbish! the 'manager' (never known anyone so full of rubbish in my entire life)says she will call back, never does, says she will email, never does, worst excuse of a manager and really lets the whole company down. in short the PART arrived after 3 weeks in worse condition than the one i took off of my car and i immediately sent it back and eventually got a refund 3 weeks later after a load more lies from management. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! * The same part i bought is avaiable from Euro car parts with a LIFETIME warranty for LESS than Renparts are charging for a second hand broken one! Shop around before commiting 6 weeks of your life to this company.

“Do not use them really bad company”

I ordered and paid for a gearbox the so called manager said it would be delivered 2 to three working days. One week later she said it was in transit 2 days later the couriers had lost the delivery this was of course not true. Many phone calls later with every phone call being another story 3 weeks later I asked for my money back she said yes no problem and said the refund has been done again - more complete rubbish. It took me a further 2 weeks to get my money back I will be speaking to trading standards to either get rid of the manager or have Renpart shut down worst company I have ever felt with

“unreliable company - woeful customer service - shoddy...”

What a nightmare!! Car part finally delivered a full three weeks after we ordered it. Turns out it had been sent out more than two weeks after we ordered it and misaddressed into the bargain. Had to chase it up many, many times each time we were fobbed off – being told the parcel would be with us in “2 – 3 days” until that changed to “it’s confirmed for delivery tomorrow”. e-mails have gone unanswered and it took five phone calls over the course of a working day to get the parcel tracking info so we could follow this up ourselves– only to find our parcel wasn’t handed to the courier until 2 and a half weeks after order was placed. Then (20 days in) we find out the parcel was wrongly addressed by renparts staff and our parcel was at a depot on the other side of the country. The last two days have been pretty much spent on the phone to the courier company myself trying to resolve this and then chasing up renparts to try and get them to take the action required. Situation certainly wasn’t resolved without a lot of work on our part and unhelpful and downright dishonest communication from office manager made an already stressful situation much worse. We have asked a number of times over the course of the last week to be put in touch with the boss but were told that he did not get involved. This would seem to be a company owner with no interest in his customers. We’re on mainland Europe but needing a part for a UK model, I think we were perhaps somewhat taken in by the multilingual website to thinking that orders to outside UK would be straightforward. I’d certainly warn against ordering anything, UK or overseas, they don’t seem to be able to cope with that side very well.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, WE HAVE BEEN IN THE MOTOR TRADE BUSINESS FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS AND HAVE NEVER COME ACROSS A COMPANY LIKE THIS. “Unreliable, unsafe, use with extreme caution”

Renparts replaced a engine and turbo with an unreliable reconditioned engine and turbo in our Suzuki which resulted in numerous trips back to Renpart to rectify the problems they’d caused. I can’t recommend Renparts for any mechanical work. Possibly even parts as they used a cheap Chinese alternative which caused an oil leak, followed by another trip back to Renparts. Unreliable, unsafe (engine failed on the motorway twice) = buy with extreme caution.

“Fantastic result”

I ordered through Partsgateway an offside door mirror with Renparts and am delighted with the result. The mirror came well packed in almost new condition, I was contacted by a lady in Renparts to ask me the exact model and colour of my car. They had not got one in my colour and I was offered a refund of my payment. however I had spray paint for my car so I got the mirror and sprayed the cover. Now fitted and working well.

Ordered a gearbox, all appeared to be going smoothly. Waited a five days for it to arrive and nothing. Contacted Renparts, and it was the carrier who didn't pick up the item. Would be with me in a couple of days. Those days pass, and of course, nothing arrives. Contact them again, it's delayed, going to be a couple more days. Nothing again. New contact: now it's really really going to be shipped (to the wrong address). Nothing arrived again, apparently the item had been damaged when they were shipping it and they were going to send another one. I decided to cancel and asked for a refund. Hasn't arrived yet. No tracking number was provided despite asking for it several times. Do NOT buy anything from them.

Ren Parts Ltd, RENAULT GRAND SCENIC DYNAMIQUE. Ref: BL3309089. Item purchased via Breakerlink. Ordered and paid for on 26th October. Item should have been dispatched right thereafter. However, now on the 9th of November, I am still chasing this supplier on a daily basis. They have provided dishonest information about when the item was dispatched, and when it will be received, and refusal to provide a tracking number for the item after several requests. Request for a refund given to them since they seemingly could not deliver the item, however they wont admit it. And a week later still no refund either.
