“Let down”

Ordered an "in stock" new car from these and was told a 10-14 day delivery, so I paid £1000 deposit. When I actually received the order form it quoted 2-3 weeks for delivery, which whilst annoying was not too bad. Knowing I had to find the money to finance the car, I managed to get a reasonable price for my car from a private buyer and sold it a week before the 3 week delivery date. A few days before the due date (Tuesday) I noticed Buyanewcaronline were no longer advertising the make I had ordered, however, they made no contact with me. On the due date, 3 weeks after I ordered the car, I phoned to ascertain the whereabouts of the car, I was told they would check with their supplier. A couple of hours later they called me back to tell me that they could no longer supply the car as the manufacturer would no longer supply their supplier! These people are unprofessional and not to be trusted. I am now faced with a bunch of car rental bills, possibly amounting to thousands, because of their incompetence. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

I am sorry to hear of your issues and this is not the way we want our company to be seen. As you will see from the other reviews on here this is not our normal standard.

With most manufacturers we receive updates but with some we have to request and due to the volumes we deal with this is on occasion a reactive process. E.g. when a customer requests an update.

In this instance we weren't aware of any issues until we chased. Upon realising a potential issue we felt it better we remove the product from the site until resolved. At this stage we were still trying to sort the existing order for the client and there was not a solid answer either way from the dealer. On the rare occasions that this happens we do all we can to find an alternative supply route and would rather go to a customer with a problem followed by a solution rather than just a problem.

Therefore we can understand why the customer felt we hadn't kept them up to date however they wouldn't have seen the work we were doing in the back ground to resolve.

The loss of facility to supply came from external pressures on the manufacturer to increase prices and sadly we couldn't save the deal.

We can only apologise but would never recommend anyone sells a car when they are relying on a mode of transport prior to the vehicle becoming available for delivery.

I agree with you. They are very unprofessional at their job and poor customer service. I also have been in a very similar situation as you. They weren’t able to deliver my vehicles and they cancelled the order. Did you get a refund? These guys are not paying me my refund which is £34000. It’s been over a month and now he has turned around saying they can’t pay me back. Avoid this company at all cost. They have taken my money.
