Photo4me.com is a fantastic online shopping experience. The website is a joy to use. The collection of photographs is extensive. Then the options of size, frame colour and format was so helpful. This all contributed to the end result being exactly what i wanted. Parcel Force tracking was so helpful. But somewhere along the process it went missing. So I called customer service who answered immediately and rectified my problem without hesitation and my print was with me in a couple of days. You won't be disappointed by making a purchase. But are you going to order just the one print or more as there's so much choice?! There's so many that will meet your taste.

I recently ordered a canvas of a barn owl and am very pleased with it. I especially loved the fact that this website / company enables you to see the picture/canvas/print of your choice in a virtual room, thus giving you a great idea of how it's going to look on your wall. In addition you can choose various sizes of the same photo, print etc. so you can be sure it won't be too large or small for the space you have in mind. I was also pleased to find a detailed write-up of the type of owl on my canvas, inside my parcel. Very interesting. Thank you.

“Poor quality frame”

Ordered large print of Chesil 508mm High x 864mm Wide [Oak Frame & Standard fitting & white mount. Frame is so thin that when picture was hung on strap across back the frame bowed (deflection 25mm + in 24 hrs). Emailed and asked for advice on how this could be repaired and have received no reply. Frame is too thin and cheap for weight of picture. Poor quality, poor service. I would not advise using this company.

Apologies that we didn't reply to your initial email as we never received it. We did however receive your follow up email on the 19th and we immediately called you regarding the bowing issue with your frame. I believe from this conversation we had a good and positive talk and outcome.

Following this, we have had a conversation with our frame manufacture to ensure that the bowing is no longer an issue on future orders.

I ordered a print which was not to my liking when it arrived. This was no fault of the company but they were extremely helpful in arranging for me to receive a different print which I was happy with. The person I dealt with was extremely sympathetic and helpful.

I have ordered two framed pictures from Photo4Me in the last month and both are excellent. With the second picture there was a small problem, as slight damage had been caused during transit. The customer service response was excellent and the problem was sorted out extremely quickly, with replacement items provided. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a quality product, backed up by quality customer service.

I ordered a framed print as an engagement gift for my daughter and her fiancé. It was an extremely late inspiration on my part, (ordered on Wednesday, for a party on the Saturday). I chose to pay a very small amount extra for Express Delivery, but still not really expecting to receive the print in time, but wanting to give it the best shot I could! Within about 30 minutes I had received a phone call, asking if I was hoping for a delivery prior to the weekend, as it was their experience that people opting for express delivery on a Wednesday often had that in mind! The guy I spoke to said he would do everything possible to make sure I received the product on Friday. Sure enough, the print arrived, well packaged, on the Friday afternoon. An absolutely stunning picture in a beautifully crafted frame, I couldn't have asked for better service or a better product. My daughter and her fiancé were touched and thrilled as the print was of their university town, where they met, and where they were visiting when they got engaged. I would not hesitate to use the company again and would recommend them to anyone without reserve!

“Great for Buyers. Poor for Photographers.”

I've taken some great photos, photos that have won awards - but unfortunately Photo4Me are extremely picky when it comes to uploading photos you wish to hold in your portfolio. Not only does it take time to upload, write a description, write key words, write a title etc, they then review it which can take up to 2 day and finally decline images that they feel aren't appropriately cropped, or 'too much glare', or has bad composition, or 'out of focus'. I have also never sold anything on there from the couple of images that were accepted. Not worth your time. Find somewhere else to display your work. I'm sure if you're buying an image then it will be a much more positive experience.

“Planes 4 me ?”

Having used the site a while it only seems intereted in aviation prints although others do sell. They have 'Featured Artists ' but seem to be only the ones actually already making sales and not promoting new fresh work. Their facebook page how ever is full of unhelpful snobs that seem full of themselves and don't welcome strangers to the party and are very unfriendly on the whole !

Exceptional product quality if a little expensive but then again you get what you pay for. A somewhat unique printed image not the commercial cheap 'Ikea' style mass produced rubbish. Heavy duty frame and actual canvas material (not the plastic imitation stuff). Quick delivery and looks great. Very happy overall

Excellent, prompt service in my experience after several purchases - which are usually followed swiftly by a request for feedback, and a discount code for subsequent purchases (which does work). Their canvas prints are perhaps "over engineered" - very robustly constructed, when perhaps they might use a cheaper product at lower prices. But you do literally get what you pay for! The heat-bonded MDF prints are a very clever offering, although should perhaps come with a hanger on the back.

“Poor quality, poor communication”

The staff (I question whether there are more than one or it's a one man band) are uncommunicative and illiterate. I had a complaint about my picture, which was bigger than the website stated and therefore did not fit in the frame I bought for it. They took 2 weeks to reply to my complaint, only to tell me i'd got what I asked for and the fact they'd told me the delivery time was 2 days before it was, it was still pretty impressive'. I asked for some compensation, but they simply emailed me saying No in roundabout terms and thanking me for my understanding. Well I do not understand, and would absolutely not recommend this site to anyone. I bought the print as a birthday present for my friend, and was embarrassed to give it to her.

As a contributor and customer of Photo4Me I have to question this negative review. I understand the way P4M works and have to say that only the very best quality product will ever be sent out to a customer. I purchased one of my own images for my daughter, a very large canvas which I also had varnished and believe me it was superbly constructed, printed, and presented. It will last a lifetime unlike many canvases I have seen. I know for a fact that if anyone has a problem with their canvas or print it will be dealt with swiftly and and if required a replacement will be made without question. I wouldn't contribute my work to this site if it wasn't the case and I know from our user forum other artists feel the same. Yes, you will pay a bit more for your canvas or print, but you also get more for your money.

Incidentally, this is a freely written review, P4M only pay me for my sales, and as I have said: if it wasn't the case that customers will get top notch service, canvas and prints, I wouldn't participate with them as a freelance contributor. Regards

We would have definitely offered a replacement sized print if that was what you needed.

In circumstances like this we would make a reprint and send it out when the other print was returned to us. If a customer orders the wrong sized medium we would always try to help out wherever possible.

Thanks, but I was absolutely not offered a replacement print at any point. I had several emails going back and forth, where I exclaimed my distress and asked to return the print and get a refund. I was refused!

It's all well and good offering to rectify the situation now, but i'm afraid it's all very little, very late. This dates back to February.
