You don't need to browse this site for long before you notice a pattern - virtually everything is "optically perfect" and "exc cosmetic condition". Peer a little closer at the photos (which are all small and poorly lit) and you may begin to have doubts. You'd be right to.
I recently bought an "exc" condition Olympus OM1. I knew something was up when I opened the package and the smell of damp hit me. If this was "exc" condition when Mr Rocky sold it, I'd love to know what superlative he would have for it now that I've treated the mould on the shutter, scraped off some of the rust, disposed of the long decayed mercury cell in the battery chamber, and dealt with the extensive foam rot in the viewfinder.
After a lot of work I've now got a camera that is, at best, salvageable. It will never be "exc" in anyone's book but Rocky's. Buyer beware.
