You will have to pay for a lot of auction credits to stand even a remote chance of winning an auction. I’ve tried to win auctions on 3 separate occasions, only very experienced and committed bidders will understand the rules, even after reading them thoroughly I was surprised by events such as.... I’d be in the last 3 bidders and the bid suddenly closed, apparently won by another, The bid ‘close time’ would reset, Reaching the maximum price doesn’t stop the auction. Unused credits expire To raise the market value of the prizes, the quality items are filled out with crappy accessories you wouldn’t normally want The site only lists 1 quality prize a week at most, I watched it for months and never saw a car or even an iPad Pro I spent around £200 and came away frustrated that I’d let myself be fooled. I’d recommend this site is best avoided.

Sign up with madbid and bought a some bids after failing to win any auctions I decided to use their buy it now feature. Which I don't have any complaints about apart from you have check their description if the item very carefully because the stuff they sent was mainly cheap Chinese imports. I stick to a competitor from now on their ITEMS are all UK

No possible direct contact, no mailadres, no phone. You can't get any money back. You only can buy tokens again and again....that's the only real business How cab we stop this madness?

To be able to look at the details of madbid auction site you have to join and to be able to join you have to purchase auction credits. These credits enable you to bid on auction items. £35 buys you 350 credits. You can buy more or less. There are about 15 items at any time being auctioned but not necessarily something that you would want to purchase. Each item is marked with the quantity of credits you use for each bid. If each bid uses 10 credits then you get 35 bids on the item for purchasing 350 credits. It says if you don't win your first auction then they will credit your account. What they mean is they will credit you with auction credits not the money you paid. Clearly everyone purchasing bids is what pays for the items to go so cheaply but if you've had to purchase 1000 auction bids at £100 and pay for the item too at for example £50 then the item isn't as cheap as all the hype suggests. The advance information before having to spend money is limited and therefore misleading.

Do NOT use this site !!!! you get charged for placing bids every bid u put in takes money from you it is a total confusing to use , even if u dont buy anything as soon as u place 1 bid you cannot get any money refunded you have basically lost it !!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS !

I just can't cry for my husband who just got tricked by Madbid!Is there any body someone can report them to? Infact the whole website needs short down. He lost £157 to this crazy site.

Like many others I fell for the hype. I cannot see how you can actually obtain a bargain. The site should be shut down!

I have never accessed or used this website before in my life yet I receive approximately 10-20 emails A DAY from different companies saying they got my email address because I signed up to mad bid. I have tried to contact this madbid company but they are just about in contactable. The emails are engine lay becoming harassment and I don't know what to do about it any more. I'm losing my mind with it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have been ripped off by badbid. Tried one bid just for the hell of it, unsuccessfull, never mind, can live with that, but when they they take £24.99 from my bank account EVERY DAY without permis sion somethings stinks. Cannot get through to telephone number in America nor am I getting replies back from their UK messaging service, (no phone number). Am contacting Office of Fair Trading to complain DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY!!! I hope that my bank can sort it out so I get my money back but I don't hope out much hope. This company should be investigated and banned before anyone else is ripped off. We live and learn!!! Don't forget a DAILY payment taken from you. DON'T BE FOOLED

You pay to bid for products and there is no way that I can see you would any up with A)the product B) a product at a cheaper rate than you could buy anywhere else. A waste of time and money. Gave up on the bidding and tried to cut my losses by buying the product at the stated rate. When the payment was to be made the rate changed to the 'recommended price' I think this site is not honourable.

Feel i had to post. Never ever blog etc etc but this mad bid made me mad. I followed a link from a well know paper and straight away was £50 down. I should have know better but truth be told its very bad. Stay clear . Very disgruntled Belfast man.

You will be wasting your time and your money going to this site. Before you can bid on anything you have to buy credits that work out at 10 pence each ( rrp ) Some items you bid on can cost 80 pence each and every time you place a bid. With only a few items up for auction at a time and with bids rising by 1 pence at a time, you can see that to reach £100 it will take 10000 bids at 80 pence a bid. The only thing you are lkely to be bying on this site is the credits to bid. Stay well away and warn your friends.
