Good meal deal weekdays for oaps. On a sunday its two courses for a tenner.desserts were good but they never seem to vary them much.lemon sponge pud or lemon meringue pie were the best.hard luck if u hate lemons.

Overall, very good.
Carvery was a sight to see, one of the best I have ever seen. We came on a sunday, which was fully booked. Staff seemed on the ball and I saw no evidence of complaints.

Food was not of a very high standard. Very basic, my partner ordered mushrooms for start, and got about 25 mushrooms covered in grease and oil with some cheese melted on top, looked messy, I opted for Battered prawn with chilli dip, batter was over cooked and very tasteless! Went to use Spree book as advised could use on booking for buy 1 get 1 free, seemed they had change in management so no longer can use this. Restaurant is like a summer house, fully lit up, and no atmosphere with appalling decor! Definitely not recommended for a romantic sat night meal that we were after! Would not recommend, as said maybe OK for over 60's looking to get out of the house for an hour, but it isnt really to my taste I m afraid.

The carvery needs to be looked at.

All in all, very very good. All staff were presentable and friendly. I even had a little laugh with one of the chefs! The food was great, as was the service.
They have a meal deal which operates on week-day evenings, £7.95 (i think) for two courses, great value for money, esecially with the carvery as there is a great choice of meat, veg and extra's.
We will be coming back and may well end up being regulars!

Not my first time at The Old Feathers. 5 of us went, 4 of us were more than happy. The 5th person, was a 4 year old, who is never happy!
I used to come in more often in the past, but then things seem to change and I did not like it so much. A couple of years later, and its back to being great. Value for money is very good, they have a couple of meal-deals running, and the best news is that Old Gits like myself get 20% Off!
I am now a regular and I hope it stays that way.

We went there for first time and were appalled at the food they served us. We asked for fillet steaks cooked medium and they presented over-cooked rotten meat! The smell was absolutely sickening, how any chef could serve this is beyond me!! They offered to cook us a fresh steak which then also arrived rotten and as tough as old boots!! The waitresses we could not fault, they were extremely friendly and apologetic. Would not recommend eating their food. Will not be returning unfortunately.

Basically the old feathers is a lovely, cosy restaurant, where the staff work very hard, they are always happy and polite. The selection of food is wonderful, you have so much to chose from. It is also very good value for money. I will keep going back again and again. I recommend this restaurant.

I thought that the food was very poor food quality. I would not recommend and will not return I'm afraid.

The Old Feathers in Framingham Pigot have a nice carvery and a good selection of food. It is a clean, presentable pub, with nice friendly staff.

We had been to The Old Feathers over 5 years ago and it was lovely, but this time it was awful. On arrival we found the staff outside the main door smoking. We ordered starters, but the waitress didn't know anything about any of them. We ordered a stuffed mushroom which was only lukewarm and not stuffed; just a flat mushroom with cheese sauce over it. We ordered children's pizza and chips x 2, and only one turned up, then they finally brought another after realising their mistake, which was still frozen inside and had to go back. For the main course we opted for a carvery, but again it was not too good. The meat was tough, the veg was OK, the puddings were hard and tough, and everything was only tepid in temperature.
We passed on desserts, except for the children who had ice cream. Not a lot can go wrong with that; and sticky toffee pudding which was just OK.
This was the first time in a long time we had gone out for a celebration meal, which was to celebrate my Mums retirement, and we were very much disappointed.
