If you are looking for a magazine that has excluded pop and all the other genre's that metal-heads class as garbage... Then this is a great mag: fully focused on hardcore metal. Though be sure you will be spending quite a lot of money as it's a very expensive magazine.

Metal Hammer - Its nice to see a magazine that actually focuses on metal as a genre, and not just the popular, chart topping bands at the moment, although it is a shame to see them put down bands that are not considered 'metal enough,' the magazines layout is rather complex, having 3 seperate sections, which, works surprisingly well in giving the reader a wider selection of topics to read about, the CDs also help people gain a wider knowledge of bands they may not have even heard of before. out of the many rock music magazines out there, this is definately one of the best
