Principal insurance took it on themselves to review my account and demanded documentation which was ok but then cancelled my policy after the relevant documentation was supplied and when asked to reinstate the policy said no but would start a new policy for me with broker fees and nearly three times the original cost and also with a veiled threat that no other insurance company would be interested in me because i had a cancelled policy !! They also offered me a refund on a policy that had 6 months to run of £20 !! My original insurance company were more than happy to have ne back and quoted me a really good price ( bennetts ) this has never happened to me before with over 40 years of motoring and a clean licence and full no claims !! The moral of the story.. Beware of insurance companies..
