Extremely pleased with the company and customer service.  our mortgage advisor, was very knowledgeable, professional and attentive! He explained the process and options to us very patiently and thoroughly and went above and beyond to seure the best option for our circumstances. Buying a flat for the first time can be a very daunting experience; having his support and expert advice meant that we at least did not have to worry about our mortgage. Highly recommended!

Initial call over the phone was easy I was assigned the person I dealt with from the Canary Wharf branch of Alexander Hall to support my case My case was slightly unique and I was delighted that the person I dealt with could find a suitable lender He was personable throughout and always very responsive and helpful

The service provided by Alexander Hall mortgage was very professional. They were available at all times and did respond all questions required. They were very patient and followed up on actions, and they followed up with me if for some reason I was delayed responding. Myself & my husband have been in contact with Alexander Hall since mid 2015, when we decided we wanted to purchase. We were put in contact with the person I dealt with , who has been a great advisor throughout our long search, and when we eventually did find the property we wanted (early 2016), the person I dealt with was extremely helpful, and offered advice and guidance throughout. Any time when we required advice, all responses were quick, and we were able to gain a mortgage to suit our needs, and to be processed quickly. Overall, it was a great experience purchasing our first property, and we would say that the person I dealt with has been a great contributing factor in this, as she took the time to explain and go through things with us, as if we were the only clients she had. We felt that for the fee, we really did get advice, and support that eliminated lots of questions we had, which made the fee all worth while. Really would recommend going to have a chat with the person I dealt with , if you are looking to buy a property, all is simplified, and it feels as if you have ongoing support throughout your search, right through to completion date.

The advisor gave us excellent support and guidance through out the process. We visited them before we finalised the house and it took only 3 days to obtain the mortgage after we gave offer for the house. They made the process so simple and I am really pleased with their regular followups until the completion of the transaction.

Approached Alexander Hall for assistance with obtaining a mortgage based on the raving reviews written here. How misleading and inaccurate. We were told a mortgage broker would call us and to have relevant information available at hand. The call was 20 minutes late which is fine as I appreciate everyone is busy, however you should have the professionalism to apologise but this did not happen. It was all down hill from there. The broker did not have the patience to listen and focus correctly on the information and products we were looking for. In fact he was sighing on the phone as if he had been inconvenienced. Having then obtained details from us he was totally negative in his approach as to what in his opinion lenders would offer. We were then advised we would be contacted via email for further information that was required... This was now 5 hours ago and I'm not going to hold my breath!! Other reviews on here state they were totally new to mortgages and they were advised every step of the process, we did not experience this at any stage. Very disappointed service for a fee paying service.

I was signposted to Alexander Hall for a remortgage. From the very beginning, I was put at ease. Several products were shown to me, but there was no pressure. I had lots of advice to help me make decisions. I liked the fact that Alexander Hall was very supportive and took time to explain things every step of the way. No question went unanswered, no matter how trivial! I had all the information I needed to make a purchase. I wish I had gone to them before this, but "better late than never". I can't fault Alexander Hall one bit. From the first meeting until after completion of my mortgage. At every stage in between, I received regular contact explaining what stage of the process my application was at, and what I found particularly impressive was the fact that these regular calls continued after the application had been submitted. From past experience a lot of brokers sever all ties once they have submitted your application and received their fee, whereas communication continued all the way until my mortgage had completed. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Alexander Hall again in future, and would happily recommend their services.
