Sent off a great big bag of very good quality clothes. Got £3.76 what a disappointment. Never again. Also I think they should send back if they don't want them. There was dresses in there of my daughters that we paid a lot of money for. Very disapointed.

Poor collection---guy had no receipt---said --oh left it at depot!! should have known then that it was not the sort of company I wanted to use. They only send one huge bag that when full is VERY heavy. Other company I used sent two at half the content. I only got just over £6.00 as they said some were not suitable--I asked for proof, but was fobbed off with---we cannot take photos of any rejections, as far too many ---My clothes were quality clothes worth over £400 and some never worn, but too small. WOULD NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN

Sent clothes 30 kgs worth , was told weight was 23 kgs not true, then only some could be used , no photos sent re unsuitable clothing as website stated, tried to get 70 per kilo as Facebook advert stated , not possible to do so Seems like someone making money out of us with no service Avoid at all costs

I had exactly the same issues as a lot of other people When i created an account I didn't get an email confirmation telling me my account had been set up and I wasn't sent a password to access my account. I had to call up the number on the website to find out what my password was. Getting the bag was straight forward and requesting a collection date was easy but once the bag was collected I didn't hear from the company until 4 weeks. I called and they told me there was a delay in sorting out the bags. Finally 4weeks later I got £2.88 into my PayPal account. Serious lack of communication. I had to go onto my account online to find out most of it was rejected even stuff that had barely been worn. Feel ripped off and annoyed ! Could have sold my stuff for more on eBay !

I recently used return to earn . Firstly after signing up it would not recognise my password , and after trying repeated times to send me a new one to my email address and it failing to do so I called the telephone number which wasn't easy to find on the website . I called numerous times and days later I finally got an answer so which a lady with very poor English said she couldn't help and to email the company . I done so and was told there was a delay with processing to which I waited . On the website it states up to 10 working days , I waited 5 weeks and was finally told my items weren't suitable . I can't help feel that this is normal practise , I wouldn't recommend ever .

I selected a date for pick up, but missed the courier as my door bell wasn't working. Courier was re-booked, but never showed up. Return to Earn stated that the courier arrived and called my phone when there was no reply. Not true! I was in all day, the bag was left outside and a big neon sign put on the door stating the doorbell was broken. No courier, no call....no return to earn. Will now give to charity.

I sent a large bag of good quality ladies clothes And shoes but received less than £5, I complained and thy sent a few pictures that I can't see anything wrong with. It's just a rip off wish I had seen the reviews before I filled the bag and sent it off .DONT USE THIS COMPANY

Collected my bag within a few days of requesting a collection 2 weeks later no contact from them about payment despite advertising within a couple of days. Premium number they advertise goes to a mailbox which is full. Reluctant to call again as it is a premium rate number, which I thought companies were not allowed to use.. No response to emails I have sent. Will be reporting this company to trading standards.

My Mum recently moved into a nursing home. She was a hoarder, and amongst her vast collection of things were 3 wardrobes and 4 sets of drawers full of clothes most of which she'd either worn once/twice, or still had their tags on! I gave 3 black sacks to charity and thought I would get a bit of cash back for her on the rest. I checked each item as I put it into the sack because I was aware they didn't accept any garments that were bobbly/worn etc. There were several brand new coats still with tags on, and many other top quality items. They collected the sack promptly, and their website says they aim to make payment within a week. I waited a month and had to email them twice before getting a response. They said they were very busy etc, the bag would soon be processed. It was another 2 weeks before this was done, and I got a measly £5.89! They had rejected almost 49% of the bag. Their reasons were wear and tear, bobbly, stained. I know I did not put any stained or badly worn items in there. The photos to support their claims weren't great quality and to be honest could f been any piece of material as they didn't show the full garment. It states on their website that the payment has been made to my PayPal account. This is not the case and I've had to email them yet again. Still awaiting a reply. They're quick enough to take your clothes but reluctant to pay for them! In short Return To Earn are a very greedy, seemingly dishonest company.

They collected a full bag of clean (washed and ironed) clothes. Heard nothing until I contacted them by e mail and got £3.21 by Pay-Pal. They said 9kg of the clothes were unacceptable. If they were unacceptable why don't they return them. Never again, and I suggest no one else deals with them either.

This company collected a big bag of good working order clothes and handbags over a month ago, since then I heard nothing from them. Only when I decided to contact them by email, the reply was the person who handled my collection was on holiday conveniently and he or she will be dealing with it a weeks time but after a week nothing happened. I decided to looked at the reviews of this company and I then realised that I made a mistake to use this mistake. This is a greedy company!!! If I knew, I rather donate to my local charity shops! My advice is do not use this company. This is disgusting.

Ordering my bag was straightforward, but when I tried to book a collection date I found they only collect Monday to Friday during the day, not evenings. Those of us who work full time can't sit at home waiting for a text to tell me when the driver is coming. I ended up using a different company. Extended collection time or Saturday collection would be very helpful.

I had dealings with this company DONT! I sent perfectly good dry cleaned and pressed suits & coats, They say the rejected 70% When i asked for proof , They sent me doctored Pictures. DO NOT CALL THEIR PREMIUM RATE HELPLINE ,they cannot help! IN addition, the payment to paypal DID NOT GO THROUGH, so You will have to contact ,THEIR PREMIUM RATE HELPINE. DONT! it would be far easier to walk in to a Cash for Clothes shop in the high street& see your business done there and then as I did in the past. I thought id shop around thhils time onlline and get a better rate, DONT DO IT ! THIS IS A C0N ! it is the modern day equivalent of the old time Rag & Bone giving a kid a balloon for their Fathers Sunday best suit and then legging it. Kind regards Hope this is helpful

my bag was over 11.6kg and they accepted 3.3kg. They gave me £1.99. Thats disgusting. They showed me 9 pics of 9 items they wont accept which wouldn't even weigh half a kg. I am sorry but there was new items with tags on still in that bag and all they gave me was £1.99. I had another bundle to send and would not even waste my time. There are other sites out there who are more decent and honest. Please shop around.... search by cash for clothes for decent companies. I would have got much more satisfaction taking them to a charity shop which is what i have always done in the past. DO NOT USE THEM. CHECK MONEY SAVING EXPERT for further reviews

I prepared a full, very heavy bag which contained clothes that were clean, unstained with no holes or breakages. All of the items were in good working order and good for re-sale. It was my understanding that they would be re-sold abroad cheaply. The collection was a mess. The address that they recorded was incorrect. I know this because they emailed me to say that their driver had visited the house and that I was not there. The house number that they had quoted did not exist. I also left the bag outside the house, according to their instructions. It was big, blue and obvious. Three days later, they picked up the bag after a string of confused emails - one of which told me to 'book my collection' after the bag had actually been taken. Finally, the bag was gone, and I was considering putting another one together - until the payment came back. They gave me a grand total of 60p!!!! Is this an all time low figure I wonder? I'd rather give my clothes to charity next time. I'd love to see a fly on the wall documentary on this bunch!

We sent return to earn several items (about 15kg) when we moved house. The issue of a bag and the pick up process went smoothly. However, they accepted about 40% - worth about £4. We were surprised as many of the items were new and unworn or practically new (the result of a successful weight loss). Their photographs illustrating the reasons for items being rejected "heavily worn" were carefully chosen, but did show two items bought (as is the fashion) as faded. One, a sweatshirt, was an unwanted gift and was unworn and in new (admittedly faded) condition. I don't begrudge this service, but I think in future I'll take any clothes I no longer need to a charity shop where they might do someone some good and raise some money for charity.
