I would strongly advise everyone not to use this site. Do not part with your valuables. If you want them back it will cost you as they will not insure return free of charge as stated in their gold pack. They are misleading people. Luckily I kept contacting them and eventually got my valuables back after two weeks. Don't bother to try phoning!

very dissapointing to be caught out by these scamming people . The documents all look good when you get them but as soon as I called to chase up my money i knew i had been had , you just can't get to speak to anyone. They do respond back to emails but only to fob you off. I am so dissapointed in myself for not lookign for the reviews , i was taken in by the fact they were at the top of the list for gold buyers, it's an expensive lesson learned. A large number of people must be sending this company gold and they have to be making a fortune at our expense . I have reported this to the police and watch dog

Found this company on "Compare the gold" comparision website.... sent my bag of gold off in Special Delivery bag supplied by them, received a very quick offer from them the next day which I accepted (March 28th) Still waiting for the money..... Have just reported them to Action Fraud....

they were fast sending me the gold pack , fast coming back to me with an offer .and that is where it fell apart the made an offer via email 27/03 9.23AM , I accepted via email 27/03 @ 9.25AM I was then advised my payment will be in my bank 24 hours. Today is 31/03 and still not in my bank. tried to email _ no reply - tried to call on the number on the website automated to leave a voice mail message press # or press 1 for operator then you get "voice mail disabled" tomorrow 01/04/15 at 09h00 I will proceed to open a case of THEFT against this company if my money is NOT paid into my account

Having accepted the offer made for a few items, told will have money paid into my account within 24hrs. Here i am 4 days in, NOTHING! As with many things in life, act in haste, repent in leisure comes to mind. The best advice i can give. Take time to fined a local jeweller or refinery that you can deal with face to face. It may take a little more time, but at least it is better than being ripped off by people like this!

I acumalated a decent 37 g of pure gold melted down from swiss bullion bars after sending the item off after being quoted over £900 the first email I was offered £812 because they said it wasnt pure which I refused only for a few days later be offered £870 I declined again I did speak to a member of staff while the testing was being done but since ive refused their offer each time I call its passed on to an answer machine now am left to fund to have the gold sent back if I do receive it very poor service as the card which the special delivery packing came in states if your unhappy with the offer we will return your items no questions asked I have a question why does it cost the customer to have their gold returned hopefully I will get my gold back be honest when it comes to valuations answer your phone when it rings and post items back if the customer declines your silly offers

Sent off a quantity of gold and silver based on their online price calculator and claim of 'average fees' of 13%. I knew the accurate weight, carat of the gold, and the pureness of the silver. When I received the offer from them I checked on the quoted silver and gold prices on their website that day. Using their calculator the gold and silver was valued at £152. Their offer was £90. This represents fees of more than 40%! I sent them an email with the calculations and asked why the price was so low, but they wouldn't reply. They sent me another email the next day with the same offer. I tried to contact them several times by phone but it just went to answer phone. I left a message for them to contact me - they never did. Their terms and conditions state that if they don't hear back from you within 3 days from when they make their offer, they take that as your acceptance!!! I sent a further email rejecting their offer and stating that I would send my own registered envelope for the return of my gold and silver. I sent it to them recorded delivery to prove that they had received it. If you don't send your own they will either send it back without insurance, or rip you off to the tune of £23 (£7.15 if you buy it yourself giving you insurance up to £500). This company based, I believe in Manchester, and operated through a PO Box number, fails to live up to its claims. They make it near impossible to contact them, don't reply to you and don't honour their own terms and conditions. I did receive my gold and silver back today (luckily) but I won't be sending it off again! I'll be looking for a local dealer from now on. AVOID!

THE AMOUNT QUOTED ON SCREEN YOU CAN TAKE OFF A THIRD. FIRSTLY THEY ARE NOT IN LONDON BUT IN MANCHESTER, SECONDLY THE PHONE NUMBER THEY ADVERTISE AND STIPULATE HOURS BETWEEN 9AM - 6PM IS RUBBISH, THE PHONE IS CONSTANTLY AN ANSWER PHONE WHICH SAYS 'SORRY WE ARE CLOSED' THE MESSAGE THEN TELLS YOU THEIR OPENING HOURS WHICH OBVIOUSLY DO NOT EXIST, YOU CANNOT LEAVE A MESSAGE AS THIS FACILITY IS FULL. (OBVIOUSLY MANY PEOPLE HAVE LEFT MESSAGES AND THEY HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN LISTENEND TO). SO YOU NEVER GET CHANCE TO SPEAK TO ANYONE. THEY ARE VERY QUICK TO SEND OUT THE PRE PAID ENVELOPE TO LURE YOU INTO THEIR TRAP, IT ALL LOOKS GLOWING AND ABOVE BOARD. THEY ADVERTISE IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THE PRICE THEY WILL GIVE YOU WITHIN 24 HOURS THEY WILL RETURN YOUR GOLD FREE OF CHARGE, WHAT THEY DO NOT TELL YOU IS IF YOU OPT FOR THAT SERVICE IT WILL BE JUST IN AN ENVELOPE WITH A STAMP ON, NOT TRACKED OR INSURED. THEY REALISE NOBODY IS STUPID ENOUGH TO OPT FOR THAT SERVICE SO THEY THEN WANT £30 TO RETURN YOUR ITEMS INSURED. THE OTHER OPTION AVAILABLE IS TO SEND THEM A PRE PAID SPECIAL DELIVERY ENVELOPE OBTAINABLE FROM THE POST OFFICE FOR APPROX £7.20. I SENT JEWELLERY TO THEM WHICH WAS CALCULATED AT AROUND £985.00 BUT ONCE THEY HAD RECEIVED IT I HEARD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR 2 DAYS AND THEN RECEIVED AN EMAIL OFFERING ME AROUND £670.00, I REPLIED TO THE EMAIL STRAIGHT AWAY DECLINING THIS OFFER, THEY REPLED AGAIN OFFERING ME £750.00 WHICH I ALSO DECLINED. I POSTED THEM THE PREPAID ENVELOPE ASKING THEM TO RETURN MY JEWELLERY AS A MATTER OF URGENCY AND FOR A FURTHER TEN DAYS THEY DID NOTHING ABOUT RETURNING MY JEWELLERY. I SENT MORE EMAILS ASKING FOR THIS TO BE POSTED BACK TO ME AND EVENTUALLY THEY DID SO. ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS TO PUT IT INTO THE ENVELOPE I PROVIDED BUT ONCE THIS COMPANY REALISE THEY ARE NOT RECEIVING YOUR ITEMS AND ACCEPTING A RIDICULOUSLY LOW PRICE FOR IT, THEY MAKE YOU WAIT AND WAIT FOR YOUR ITEMS TO BE RETURNED. IF YOU HAVE HAD THE TIME TO READ THIS PLEASE DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR TRAP, THEY ARE KNOWN TO TRADING STANDARDS AND ALSO ONLINE FRAUD AGENCY. THIS SEEMS TO MAKE NO DIFFERENCE MY ONLY MISTAKE IS THAT I DID NOT READ ANY REVIEWS BEFORE POSTING MY GOLD ITEMS. I HAVE SOLD BEFORE TO A COMPANY ON LINE AND HAD NO ISSUES AT ALL, FOR THIS REASON I DID NOT FEEL THE NEED TO RESEARCH THE COMPANY SOMETHING WHICH WAS A HUGE MISTAKE. DO NOT TRUST THEM

I applied for their envelope and it arrived the next day,which I thought was a good start. But I had some queries and tryed to telephone them, it said there working hours were 9-6pm and I rang at 4.55pm, there was no answer,it just said what their hours were, and then there was a recorded voicemail telling me to leave a message, then it said the message box was full ??!! The recorded message was a lady with an American accent !!! This got me thinking, a big place like this,the first you hit up on google and there is no-one there to take a call ? So tonight I thought I would try to find some reviews and fell over all these reviews, oh! my gosh I am so happy that I did, its perhaps saved me a big head-ache as I was going to send them 211 grams of various carat gold.. Thankyou to every thats left a review, obviously I would say "DONT RISK IT" not after reading everyone elses problems they've had. They sound an awful place to do business with, I think its best to do a face to face deal.

Totally Shocking company - should be illegal. Great online quote they offered me next to nothing, increased the offer to a still terrible amount. then charged me £12 to get it back! and if you do not respond they say they will pay you the first offer within 10 days. 

I used this company to sell some old silver coins. After looking at the website and calculating my price with the calculator I was expecting to get around £320. They were quick to send out my freepost envelope and after packaging up my coins I received a quote from them for £70. I emailed them and called them numerous times and never recevied a response in the first couple of days. However, I then received an email to advise they would increase my offer to £150 which I turned down. I was advised I would need to send them £23 to have my items returned special delivery. It seems that this company quote high costs on their website and then offer low quotes after sending in your stuff. I didn't have as much problems as others when contacting the company. I think you just need to keep trying them and eventually they will email you back.

These people are gangsters. They offered a lot less than it was worth, and then charge you to return it insured. Don't waste your time.
