Do not buy from this company! I purchased 5 gate remotes as advertised on ebay and received one .Upon querying the location of the remaining 4 remotes, I was astounded by the horrific spew of insults that came in form of a response. The advertisement and delivery note stated 5 remotes for the price specified. However their customer advisor stated rudely that I was not receiving the other four, due to the amount I had paid. To clarify I paid the full amount asked for 5 remotes on eBay. They have falsely advertised 5 remotes and have only supplied one. The abuse and falsehood I received over messages would put a seller to shame. They have told blatant lies about me phoning them which is not true. They have now removed the post but are refusing to supply the remotes and are refusing to fix the issue which could have been easily resolved.

Do you know what it’s worth ringing this guy just to find out how bad it is! It’s that bad it makes you laugh! can literally picture this as a scene from faulty towers, this has to be a joke of company for sure! Rang for a bit of help to point me in the right direction and a problem with a garage door with hope of buying the parts required! didn’t even get this far he was so rude it was unbelievable! The conversation went……. “gave him my name and said I’ve got a customer who has a really old concrete pulley system garage door” he stopped me short and said what make is the door……. Then went into a massive rant about how he’s been doing this for 25 years and I was wasting his time! I hadn’t even spoken at this point after my opening sentence! I challenged him when he had finished to say I’m asking for help to identify the door so I can order the correct parts…….. he simply just hung up was left gobsmacked! don’t think he will last another 2 years if he keeps this level of customer service up! With all social media and reviews it won’t take long for it to catch up with him! Seriously though it is worth ringing him just to listen to his customer service, again can only be described as a comedy sketch, if nothing else it will pee him off with the phone constantly ringing ????????????????

I placed an order on their website and I had the cheek to ring 3 days (5/10 13.30) later to check the progress of my order so I could arrange a date to repair my clients garage door,on the seventh attempt they answered the phone & that's when the fun started , nowhere does it say say on their website that if you ring us we'll treat you like a nuisance, take an aggressive tone with you and then put the phone down on you, leaving you with a still unanswered query and causing me an issue with my customer absolutely shocking. Don't take my word for it check the other reviews! -

pleased to see website, about to place an order and phoned to check something and within minutes he says "You're not listening" and slams the phone down. This guy is seriously out of order. I don't take kindly to bullies.

Thank you for a very easy transaction of our garage door parts, our door has been broken for months. I was daunted on having to repair it, but after speaking to GDS and looking at their instructions the repair was made very easy... We now have a fully working garage door... my wife is now very happy. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP AT GDS

managed to get a 30 year old garage door working again for £28 all in. Parts arrived the next day and it took 30 minutes to get it as good as new. It took longer to order the parts. Only criticism is the part images could be a lot bigger and slide shows would help. Also boms could be listed with images. But that's just a minor quibble

Wish I read the reviews on here before I purchased as I would have taken my business elsewhere. This guy sends me two defective cones which have a deformity in the plastic meaning they don't fit. When I rang him to ask him about it he rudely replied "well knock it out with a screwdriver then" before hanging up, clearly annoyed that I had the audacity to ring him when after sales advice appears to be his USP on his website. After ten minutes filing them down they just about fit. Avoid

Was ready to order a number of spares but wanted to check a few points on the website. I checked a coupe of points and before I could ask the real question or placing an order the chap became irritable, basically told me he gets no-one but idiots calling and then hung up. Granted its the holidays but if you don't want calls don't leave your number on the website and/or don't pick it up and let it go to answering machine! I like to support small businesses but this chap has an attitude not suitable for customer services.

It's the aftersales that shows you how good a company is. This one is the worst I have ever had the misfortune to have to deal with. Ordering the parts was easy but once received I found there was a problem, so I contacted them. First he demanded to know which website I'd ordered from: GDS person: "... we have seven." Me: "Eh, hang on, how do I ..." GDS person, cutting in: "Call back when you find out" and hangs up. Having got past that hurdle he found two or three more shortcomings in my performance which allowed him to hang up on me. (From other reviews here this appears to be his normal way of operating.) Prior to his final hang-up he said he'd refund me. If he does I'll come back and give him another star, but I'm not hopeful. So I went elsewhere for the missing bits, but bearing in mind that this lot have seven websites I made sure the company I ordered from had a post address a long way away from this one. (I actually used one on ebay and the parts arrived correct and much quicker than GDS.)

Do not order anything from this site. You pay and they don't send you anything and then you spend the rest of your life trying to get your money back. The owner, is complete jerk and doesn't know the first thing about what he's selling and is without doubt the most unhelpful idiot I have ever come across - a nut case of the highest order. Rude doesn't even scratch the surface - be warned.

Ordered two items, paid for next day courier delivery. Received confirmation email as to sale. Then 24 hours later received a text stating one of the items was no longer available and that they had refunded the cost of that item and sent the other one without my consent. Had I known that one item was not available I would have ordered both from another seller. Then the package arrived the next day with a scribbled note on it saying that the missing item would be "sent from our suppliers". When the other item did not show up by 5:30 I sent a text saying that I was very unhappy and that I would not use or recommend their services. I received the following message: "Get yr facts right - Not charged penny more - Not happy - Simple return goods for refund - Moaning git" Classy. Wish I had read the other reviews on this site before ordering anything from this person/firm.

Ordered part two weeks ago. Paid by debit card. Payment was taken. Nothing has arrived, e-mails are unanswered, phone is never picked up. Avoid!

Ordered a part for my garage door and paid with PayPal. Confirmation emails arrived from PayPal but nothing from Garagedoor-spares. After a couple of days I phoned. As I couldn't initially answer all the questions I was posed regarding the transaction the phone was slammed down on me. On my second attempt I was told the system was automatic so I must have had the emails. After persisting they found my order had been dispatched. Clearly their systems don't work. Will never use them again!

The company sent me the wrong part and no apology was forthcoming. Wouldn't respond to my e-mail unless it was sent in office hours. This was difficult to do in my case due to work commitments. Eventually gave up and bought a replacement part elsewhere.Stay well clear. Owner very rude and generally not a pleasant experience.

A thoroughly interesting and informative website for buying garage door spares, I needed a a pair of garage door cables for my Henderson door, I purchased on the Monday after speaking to the owner for advice, the cables were delivered on the Tuesday, along with the tools, the door was up and working aging bter than ever within the afternoon.
