I had read good things about this cream. I tried it and it gave me a red rash on my face and neck, my face became swollen and I had blisters all over my face. I had to go to the hospital and was prescribed some cortisone cream. This was quite distressing as I did not know what this was at the time. I have also read reviews where others have suffered the same reaction. Surely the manufacturers should put something in with the cream to this effect, this should be a requirement. I am sure this works for a lot of people and this reaction is rare but it is not pleasant when it does occur. I could not test this on my wrist etc. as this was bought online. I think it is irresponsible not to put something in with this saying it is rare but this can occur.

I have exactly the same reaction to this product, and thought I was the only one! I have really dry chapped lips and this, as everyone probably knows, came highly recommended. I applied Eight Hour Cream on my lips and within a few hours my lips became horribly swollen and burning. It took a long time to recover and I realizenow I should have taken anti-hystamines. Apparently it's very rare but all the same it did happen and now I see I'm not the only one! No-one believes me when I mention it.Very frustrating as everybody raves over this product and it really was an unpleasant and distressing experience. I'll never ever touch it again!
