They made me an offer for my iPhone 4 which I was happy with. I sent it in and they then reduced their offer by two-thirds, due to 'excessive wear and tear'. The phone had had a screen protector & case since the day I had it, so I knew this was rubbish. I called them and they told me that they'd send it back to me for £5 if I wasn't happy. I told them that they could either honour their original quotation or send it back to me at their own expense, otherwise I would proceed down the Small Claims route. I informed the representative that I had taken pictures of the phone (including its IMEI) before sending it to them - she told me that they would re-examine the phone and get back to me. When she called back they were able to offer the original valuation. The money then took around 2 weeks to get to my account (I had to call again to remind them...)
