Phone sent in that had no faults, only to be told there were numerous issues and a drastically reduced offer was made. I declined and phoned to discuss. Their phone was answered with a ‘hello’, no company name which was unprofessional. Phone was returned when I enquired as to whether they intentionally made high offers only to then revise once they had the item.

DO NOT USE this company, I sent a perfectly good phone to them and was told it was damaged, I asked for it to be returned paid the postage up front, this has still not happened, I actually threatened them last night with a Solicitors letter as they have either lost the phone or sold it on, and low and behold I received the original offer of £40 within hours, they should not be allowed to trade.

Alas, I didnt and have fallen foul...:( Like others, they are not answering my many emails or phone calls, so I'm considering wasting one day of my weekend to travel to them and not leave until they return my phone. May go via the local police station too. If I do, happy to try and get them to return other phones too. No harm in getting in touch to discuss. Cheers

Sent my phone in aweek ago now and nothing i rang them and they said its been sent to the payments department and should be with you in an hr nothing rang next day and asked me for order number which I dint get so they asked me for my postcode, iv emailed them several times which theyv not responded, been ringing them last 3 days and its just a engage tone.. not happy

Please please do not use this company. You risk a whole load of hassle and time. I have been waiting almost a week for my payment and its yet to be received. I have actually reportee them to Action Fraud. They will reduce the value of your device then try to get away with not paying you. I've seen so many reviews saying the same. Next step is a small claim and whatever legal authority I can go to if I don't get my payment. Just please do yourself a favour and do NOT use and go somewhere like Music Magpie or CEX where you're quote might be lower but at least they are genuine.

I sent my phone in good faith, it was immaculate, but they contacted me the day after I sent it to say their were scratches and knocked £50 off original price. This was still an average price for the handset and not wanting to go through the delayed process and cost of a return I agreed. They stated that the payout for the handset would be the day it was received, after agreeing to the new price early afternoon, by close of business the money had still not arrived. The next day I rang the company numerous times to either find I was either cut off or when re dialled it was either engaged or fax number sounded,when it did ring it rang out and was never answered and no facility to leave message, Ive emailed 5 times and messaged on Facebook no reply or acknowledgement. I’m starting to feel the phone has been received but I won’t get my money, this company is not ethical and this can’t be legit. I obtained a price and agreed to sell to them through Conpare & Recycle, I’m waiting to hear back from them to see how to progress as this is seriously unnerving especially in the current climate. I sent my phone over a month ago as they were offering the highest price for my iPhone. They sent the packaging in time however they’ve now had it for over a month and made no contact with me. They don’t respond to emails, the phone number just rings when you call it and they don’t reply to the form on their site. 

Unfortunately, I read reviews AFTER I had sent my phone to these people. It appears that I experienced their usual tactics. They gave me a price, I sent the phone, I then get an email to say they found a mysterious scratch on the screen (not sure how it got scratched whilst in transit), and offered a new low price. If I want the phone back I have to pay. Also they claim payment on the day they receive the phone, in my case I got payment a week later after chasing, and they even then took off an ‘admin’ payment too. So my advice would be, avoid if possible, but if you really need to use them, work on the price advertised, but take off a quarter for mysterious imperfections and then another 10 pounds for admin.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!! The man is disgustingly rude. I sent my phone in over 2 weeks ago the offered me £175 then when they received my phone the offered £75. I rejected their offer & had to pay £4.10 for them to return my phone. Took 5 days for a them to send my phone when I opened it....... it was not my phone!! For a week I’ve been trying to get my iPhone back. The lady on the phone was so rude to me & then put a lieing, foul mouthed man on the phone I couldn’t believe the words that was coming out of his mouth, I have reported him! He was trying to tell me that I had received my phone and was trying to rip them off! They are disgustingly mouthed people & I will do all I can to stop them from trading after the words he was saying to me. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Do not use this company. Avoid at all cost. I sent my mobile to them after they told me they would pay me £160 for it. I recieved the black plastic bag to send my phone off to them. The day after I sent it I recieved an E mail to say they have recieved the phone and ot was being sent for testing. An hour later I recieved an E mail to say they had tested the phone and there was a problem and could only pay £70 for it. I accepted the offer and another Email came through to say the bank transfer had been made. I checked my account and no payment had been made. I Emailed back and they said the money would be paid within 24 hours. After this period of time I checked my account and no money. They then said it would be in by the end of the day. Still i recieved no money. I contacted them again threatening legal action if they didnt give me the money or return my phone. Again i recieved and e mail telling me that the money would be in by the end of the day. It wasnt paid.

They originally quoted £125 on the website for my phone. My phone was in PERFECT condition, then when it arrived to them they said it had a sudden 'deep scratch' and 'dents' on it and would only give me £70 for it. I refused the offer and they put the offer up to £80. I refused that and said minimum I'd accept is £100 after not responding for an entire day. They eventually accepted to start with saying a payment would be made the next working day, which it wasn't. Then when pressed a day or so later, they declined and said they were sending it back to me for free. This whole saga spanned across a week and I had no idea what was going on, if I was ever going to get it back or not. Only from hassling them did I eventually get it back and it was in the same perfect condition I originally sent to them. My advice is to avoid this company and go with a bigger one like O2 Recycle which I have done and got the same amount of money for. I regret this entire experience.

This company have been absolutely terrible. They knocked £40 off my phone price valuing it at £20 and they gave ridiculous reasons as to why they gave a reduced price. The phone according to their terms and conditions was indeed a working phone and none of the reasons they provided breached these terms. I emailed the company stating that my phone was working according to their terms but they never replied. A month later I sent another email.... still no reply. So, in the end, I accepted their £20 as it costs like £5 to get it sent back. They won this round, but I will be sure to leave as many bad reviews on different sites as I can. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They value your phones slightly higher than competitors so you send them their device, however, from what I have heard, they always reduce the asking price. Just go for a more trustworthy company and sell your phone for a couple of quid less!

Do not use this company. Sold a iPhone 8 with tiny scratch to the screen and they offered £415 and then offered £350 saying it was incredibly damaged when it looked brand new. I have sold my phone to other companies like envirophone and also through carphone warehouse. They also didn’t receive my parcel as it got re delivered to Royal Mail which is worrying. Would not recommend stick with a better company.

Told me my phone was worth more sent it off to be told it was only worth £5 as it was damaged with dents and a crack to the bottom left screen. Well it didn't when I sent it off! Want me to send them money now to send it back and if reading the other reviews are anything to go by I probs won't get it back. Never using them again! Never had probs like this with other companies used in the past! NOT HAPPY!

Do not use this company. After waiting for my phone to be received by them for nearly a week, Royal Mail informed me that they bulk receive phones and remove them before the courier can scan the items. They then say the phones or items have gone missing. Royal Mail has received numerous complaints like this. They told me to ring back after 1700 to speak to a manager at MC Recycle. I questioned the time as the office would be shut. Tried it, and low and behold the office is shut. They refused to tell me who they’re governing body is.

Do not send to them! I sent my working phone them, of a price of £65 for the working phone. For it to then be re-valued at a lower price because of major damage! The were a few wear and tear marks on the rim of the phone top and bottom, not major damage. The guy states there are scratches to the screen and dents. Well I know there wasn't when I sent it, as I took photos of what the phone looked like when I sent it away. Unless they damaged it there. They said I need to pay £3 returns, for not going with the reduced price. when on there website it says if I change my mind on sending it. I get if I changed my mind on the £65 valuation, I would get the returns charge. But doesn't state if they re-value it and decline then you have to pay for the pleasure of them trying to de-value your item and trying to rip you off! He said "that's business " wow what a bad company! i asked to speak to a manager apparently, he told me he wasnt in until after 5pm so will call back then.Don't use them! Sell it to someone reputable! Or private sell!

Do not use this firm said my phone was faulty to under cut the price they offered. Asked for my phone back and the have the cheek to ask for £4.40 posted to post it back. Still waiting for phone to be returned.
