This company is a joke!!!!!!! Should seriously have monkeys managing the phones, they would certainly have more people skills and actually be able to do their job! I asked for the phone I sent them to be returned (after them saying it was a fake-which was an old contract phone) which they have refused to do without me paying postage. So I will be taking this further, I gave them benefit of doubt and told them they had until today to send it back free of charge (as I was able to send it to them free of Charge) so a word of advise for people wishing to use this company in future.... don't. Go to envirophone or mazuma cause I've used them in past and had no problems! I will continue to post and review them daily until the handset is returned to me! So can I ask that you please share away. Thanks

Yeah they certainly are liars. Guy was downright rude who I spoke with but told them I will continue to post bad reviews and harass them till I get phone returned! lol. Thanks for sharing your experience too

Avoid this company at all costs! I did read some reviews before I posted my samsung galaxy s6, but the ones I read were ok. BIG mistake, should have looked into them more thoroughly. I was offered £152 for my phone which was in pristeen condition having always had screen protection and case, I always look after my phones so I know was in perfect condition. However, after 7 emails I sent which were ignored, and several unanswered phone calls I managed to speak to someone, who I must say wasn't as courteous as I would have expected..... I was told they would offer me £120 for it as it had a dent in the top. I know there was not a dent when it left me! I told her that and she said It must have happened in transit!! To which I replied" it can't have as it was wrapped in loads of kitchen roll AND in a bubble wrap package. She spoke to the "manager" and came back with £135.....I reluctantly accepted as I can't be doing with the hassle. Lesson learned, look into things more thoroughly next time. On looking at other reviews on this company many many more people have had the same experience..... So just BEWARE OF THIS SO CALLED COMPANY.

I went with this company to recycle my phone because they offered me £20 more than anyone else on a comparison website. Their website and actual paperwork looks professional but they are bad. Stay well clear. I got told that my phone was damaged in places where I knew it definitely wasn't having been in a protective case at all times and they reduced the price based on this. For argument's sake I accepted the revised price then had to wait over a week for payment after constantly ringing them. Use a reputable company. I will definitely NOT be using fonehub ever again.

Its been over 3 weeks since sending my phone . and still no paymentand no reply from emails. Also they fail to mention the cost to sent a phone by special delivery, which bites into your trade in payment , if you ever receive it.

It's now been 3 weeks and still no money following sending them my iPhone 6. I have tried to call them and no one ever answers and I have sent 3 emails chasing payment with no response. I'm close to bringing the police.

Sent my phone on 25th Jan,, now 2 weeks later I'm still waiting for my money to be paid into my account. I've emailed them twice for an update, but no response, phoneme them but no answer. Absolutely appalling. Reading other reviews it appears they take your phones but just don't like paying. Stay well away from this company, there are many more respectable companies out there and more trustworthy Service is defiantly not good

like others I fell for the good price that they were offering for a blackberry passport. but when they received it the price was knocked down because they claimed there were scuff marks on the casing, this was impossible because the phone had been kept in a plastic case from day one. I am one of the lucky ones I managed to get my phone back

Great price offered for my phone,I even sent it in the box with charger as new,sent it back the same day I received there envolope and they still reduced offer ,,,,they said because the order was ten days old haha ... what a load off ball....I then had to chase for payment as they told me it had Bean paid ,,,and guess what it hadn't. ...so I ended up threadning to take it further and only then two days later a got my money......

The worst company ever! They say they will pay a certain amount for your phone and then downgrade it is the hope you will accept it. You have to pay the high postage to get your phone back. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! They are cheats a liars and I would NEVER use them or recommend them to anyone! STEER CLEAR OF THIS!!!

firstly you only get working or faulty on the phone I selected which is rather vague once they received my phone they offered me half the money they had advertised then when I complained they said well its a bit beat up that's why they only offered half the price and I said to them their website does not say anywhere about the actual condition of the phone but they wouldn't budge and their customer service is so slow I sent it off over a month ago and still waiting for my money

disgrace that a company can get away with this - sent my phone off record delivery as requested. original quoted price reduced by £35 because of damaged case... there was no such damage. When I went to reply via email I got not reply. When I tried to log into my account a fault message appears on screen. and when you call there is no answer or the chance to leave a message. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I did not receive any post bag to send the phone in to start off with. Which is a poor showing comparing this is just standard practice with other sites. I then sent the phone in with my own bag and via recorded delivery on 12/04/16. This got to them on 13/04/16 according to Royal Mail. However their website did not update any information with regards to this and so by 16/04/16 I decided to call them and get in touch. But despite several phone calls no one got back to me, so I emailed them and got a reply by the (Sales Director) on 17/04/16.....Again not a great showing as all the email said was they can confirm they received the phone by this point, and given I was chasing them, its a not exactly a great display of their services. A few days later their customer services manager emailed me to let me know she was looking into my original email to see if the phone has been received or not. 2 things, firstly, dont these guys talk to one another within the business, and secondly, this email was a good few days from my original communication, so that's yet again another poor showing. The icing on the cake was today when I got an email saying the original offer of £100 was revised to £75 pounds due to scratches and scuff marks on the casing more then just normal wear and tear......Well apart from this being incredibly subjective, I find this hard to believe as a) No photographic evidence was provided b) My phone was used throughout its 2 year duration encased in 1 hard see through case, which in itself was encased by another more rugged case....which is how they received the phone. Prior to issuing them with it, I checked I didn't notice any excessive casing issues. c) Given that its now been well over week since receiving the phone, how do I know that these marks did not occur whilst in their due care? After all if their level of service in terms of customer feedback is this poor, there's nothing to indicate their warehouse / testing facility and employee handling processes are any better. Added to this, I still have not got any payment for the phone, which given that they promote quick turn around and payment is yet another let down by the firm. I reluctantly accepted the offer, on the basis that if I was to query it based on past performance this would just protract an already exhaustive process. All in all, there is no way I would ever recommend using these guys to anyone. Like some of the other reviews have said both on here and other sites, they entice you in with a misleading price and then end up paying you what everyone else offered if your lucky, after having messed you around and kept you waiting throughout the entire process.

Fonehub Ltd advertises higher prices just to get your business and then makes up random defects so that they won't pay the agreed amount. From my own personal experience I would not recommend them. However, if you do decide to use them, make sure that you take plenty of evidence before sending (i.e. photo, video, etc). Thankfully I did do this and even when I submitted evidence they came up with another excuse. In the end I had to resort to threatening legal action and only then did they pay up. I can recommend the advise by Which? if you have a similar experience. It's about time that these dishonest companies were legislated properly.

I sent two phones to Fonehub and received an email notification from them that the iPhone 6 Plus I sent them was locked to the EE network when it was an unlocked phone and also the phone was damaged - they offered a new valuation to which I responded advising this was false and that I would be placing a stop on the IMEI until it was returned to me. I then three days later receive an email advising they couldn't return it to me as it was blocked! Shambles!!!!! In respect of the other phone which was a iPhone 5s they advised it would not accept any SIM cards as the new value was £0. Again utter rubbish as the phone has been in use the previous day and worked perfectly well. I have been trying to call the telephone line on their website since Friday - it was answered once and they hung up immediately! Do not use them is my tip!!!! This is still not resolved with them as they never answer the phone and slow to respond to emails - fantastic way to lose your phones!!!!

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! They are not to be trusted. We sent a phone to them only to be told the screen was cracked and they had to reduce the price. The screen was in perfect condition. We sent them a photo of the phone we took prior to it being packaged in bubble wrap and sent it to them to prove it was in good condition. They have subsequently not responded to any of our emails. Do not use them!

I was quoted £13 for my phone which I was pleased with, I sent it off as required, the phone was in immaculate condition. I received an email from them saying the offer was revised and it was now £0. When contacted they said it was because the sim was still inside. I replied that I had the sim with me, they said they would re check the phone. They came back to me and said the sim holder was damaged and the quote stood at £0 and if I wanted my phone back it would cost me £5. I cannot prove that the sim holder wasn't broken before I sent it to them but I know that it wasn't. The outcome is they have my phone and I can't do anything about it, if I pay £5 to get it back I expect it will return with a broken sim holder and I will be out of pocket. My advise, don't use this company.
