My previous carrier automatically adjusted payment on expiry of the finance contract, not so with 3. I found I had overpaid 11 months finance with no means of recovering the money. Clearly my fault for not reading the small print but what a morally corrupt company, they could at least send a reminder. I immediately cancelled the contract and despite having overpaid a significant amount they wanted the next months payment.
I then found that my phone was locked to 3 mobile and would not operated with another Sim, three weeks later and many phone calls I finally managed to get the information I need to unlock the phone. I was first told that the phone was not locked, it was. Then that I could unlock it on i tunes, could not, then to complete online unlock form, received a message saying they could not validate account. Several more calls to technicians all giving conflicting information before striking lucky and getting one who knew what he was doing. The coverage is rubbish, the contract corrupt and the company shambolic, buyers beware!
Forgot that I also called into a 3 mobile shop and was also given a load of incorrect information there.
