I lost my phone on holiday and promptly called O2 insurance. I spent a long time on the phone reporting the incident to only to be told I must also complete a form with the same information.
It then took over a week to process the claim.
I then recieved the wrong colour iphone (black instead of gold).
I then received awful customer service saying they were within their rights not to provide the same colour iphone. Even though I am investing over £800 of MY money into my chosen gold iphone.
I then filed a complaint.
I then waited over 8 weeks for a response.
In the meantime I have been charged the excess.
I received a call to say they apologised for the customer service I received when disputing the colour phone I'd received but they had upheld their contract and would do nothing about the time I had to wait, the colour phone or the excess I've paid.
I've been a customer for over 10 years.
I wasted a lot of energy on this and have been left very unsatisfied.
When I have the opportunity to end my contract I will do swiftly to another provider that offers a suitable level of service.
EE for example always provides exactly the same BRAND NEW (not refurbished like O2) and sometimes same day delivery.
O2 you are not up to standard.
