My iphone 6 was water damaged, water bottle tipped over the phone overnight didn't realise until the following morning. I made a claim on 07.09.15 , took a couple of days to obtain proof of purchase from my network provider. Claim was assessed on Friday 11.09.15 and an excess payment of £50 was processed. l sent my phone to the repair centre on Monday 14.09.15 and by Tuesday 15.09.15 I had received an email from LGS saying my phone is scheduled for repair and once my phone has been received at the repair centre, it will be repaired and despatched back to me within three working days by courier and will need to be signed for.
Friday 18.09.15 just received a further update from LGS saying they assessed my claim and my replacement handset is now in the process of being ordered. If my phone is available, it will be despatched within three working days by courier and will need to be signed for.
My overall rating is 4stars because l am happy with service so far, however the duration of the claim process can be long. I'll come back with an update when l receive the replacement phone.
