Great gadget for charging mobile phones, iPods and camera batteries while you're on the move. Has built-in Li-Ion battery that is recharged using the inbuilt solar panels or using the supplied USB cable via a laptop or other USB charger. When charged, unit plugs into a mobile phone or iPod and charges its internal battery using a dc voltage of up to 9.5v. A variety of interchangeable plugs is provided that suit many different appliance charging sockets. Also included in my box was an ingenious device called a CamCaddy, which is a cradle with configurable power contacts for recharging camera batteries. Also incorporates a useful LED power gauge which tells you how much charge is left in the unit. Small enough to fit in your pocket and a soft carry pouch is provided to prevent the unit being scratched. Unit seems very well made. Only downside I have found is that it can take a long time to recharge the unit using its solar panels, depending on the strength of the sunlight, but it recharges quickly from a USB cable. Highly recommended.
