I bought this Impact Wrench to solve a problem that will be very familiar to the owners of any Motorcycle made in the last 10-15 years, Namely , getting the front sprocket nut off ! After trying for some time and actually succeeding in lifting the rear wheel of my ER6 off the ground using a more traditional combination of socket and breaker-bar this wonderful machine whipped the offending nut off in seconds . It is a very easy tool to use and comes in a decent case complete with a set of impact sockets. They only go up to 22mm so I had to buy another 27mm item to allow me to actually do the job but the ease with which it was done certainly made the expense well worth while. This is not an adjustable model so it is not really suitable for fastening nuts as you don't actually know the torque that you are applying but it does feature variable speed on the trigger so you can use it to spin a nut on and then finish it off with a torque wrench. Having said that , it is a big solid bit of kit and you would be unlikely to be able to get into anywhere with limited space. Excellent. Well chuffed with this.
