The rechargeable (non-replaceable) battery on this unit was getting low even before the warranty was up but now, three months on, it lasts about 15 seconds before it dies. Wipes out any value that this thing might have (and the design is OK). This company clearly doesn't care about real quality. I now know to avoid anything by Babyliss.

i have purchased many BaByliss Electric Beard Trimmers over the years and every single item purchased has broken or had a fault within just days of the warranty expiring. The customer service is non existent, very unhelpful they even seem evilly pleased that it has passed the warranty and is not their problem-.. I have highlighted one problem in particular with the batteries that they use and that they over heat and lose charge within months of powering on... Despite fixing this problem they are pleased to let their customers sort their 'own problems' out because it's nothing to do with them, as the warranty is out.
