I have had this vehicle since 2006, and so far have covered almost 100,000 km's. So speedo now reading 210,000 kms.
over this time i have replaced the tyres 3 times, current ones still good for at another 10,000 kms. Cambelt once, SADs twice, shocks all round once, radiator cap, brake discs and pads, starter contacts. cost wise it works out on average £130 per year to maintain, excluding insurance and road tax, so can't complain about that.
being 4WD it is great when we have had snow storms, and passes much more expensive vehicles with ease and no drama. Have had none of the dreaded head problems, mainly because i keep it serviced regularly, and change the auto gearbox oil annuallly as do i change the coolant. Consumption is not great, around 32mpg at 70, then it is plus 2 tonnes and automatic.
It is great for transporting passengers and goods, including a three seater settee. Just been to Torquay and chugged up and down the hills without problem, it won't win races away from the line, just a great old work horse.
due for a smaller car now but plan to keep the bus and convert to a 2 person camper, too good to scrap, and won't get much if i sold her, 20 years old this year. They don't make them like this anymore!
