I placed an order in February 2019 for a danalight lamp shade and money taken immediately and I was informed it would be with me in approx. 2 weeks. Then when I hadn't heard, I emailed to chase up and was told they were waiting on a shipping from Denmark. I queried again and then asked for a refund. Nothing. No response. Now I have emailed them demanding a refund and it has come back saying address not found. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I placed an order for a pendant light and received a confirmation email saying it would be delivered within 1-7 working days. There was also an email address and telephone number given to contact if any queries.

I haven't received my item (it's now 2 weeks after ordering). The phone number rings and rings - no answer. I've had no replies to my emails.

DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER ON THEIR WEBSITE. I usually check reviews online before ordering and I didn't in this case - I wish I had!

Same story as the other reviewers. Product is not actually in stock and only after ringing, and emailing and then contacting them through Paypal they responded saying the order was coming from Denmark. I waited a week then proceeded dispute through Paypal and have received a refund. 

Please note I ended up ordering same lights from Electrical store using Amazon paid with paypal and I have received them within the week.

After placing an order online I waited for a few days for the dispatch email and nothing came. I tried to call and had to leave an message on an answering machine to which I received no reply. The next day I sent an email and again received no reply.

For the next 4 days I called and not once did they answer the phone.

10 days went by so I opened a dispute through Paypal and within 10 minutes I received a reply, what a coincidence!!! I was told the item was out of stock and they'd refund me.

This is just another example of a tin pot 'company' masked by a flashy website. Don't waste your time, find a reputable company.

Ordered Lighting in November, which invovled some units from Denmark.

No response from ANY phone call to date 30/1/19.

email communication only and very bad at that also.

Constant delays on the lights - "We are waiting for the items still to arrive from Denmark"

Gone on through December, and last promise was mid January.Nothing to date not even a reply to my email.

Demanded a refund today and wont hesitate to follow this up legally if not forthcoming.

DONT Bother shopping here.

Placed an order with DC Lighting about a month ago

No communication, they've already taken my money with no date for delivery, left voice mail, left emails, no reply to anything what so ever, right now looks as if I'm going to have to raise a dispute with PayPal and claim my money back - avoid these ones

I contacted this company for information about a standard lamp. The reply I received was prompt (within hours even though is was outside of office hours), was polite and detailed.

Absolute fantastic. I highly recommend this knowledgeable company.

Having had an 'accident' with a 5-shaded lamp (breaking 3)at a rented holiday home, I found DC Lighting online. You were the epitome of perfect customer-focussed service. You were so lovely to talk to and sorted my situation in a swift and timely fashion. You did exactly as you said and I'm so very grateful. It's not often enough I get to deal with someone as professional-yet-friendly as you were. Well done. You gave your company a good name and reputation.

I purchased 2 light units after a long telephone conversation with dc lighting explaining my requirements.

Upon receiving the light units it was immedately apparent by me and the electrician that the light units were not strong enough to light up our new kitchen extention.

I called up dc lighting to return the lights but i was given excuse after excuse about the lights. To top it off I was told to keep the light as they only cost £80, as if im made of money.

Everytime I mentioned returning the lights i was made to feel like a villian for even thinking of the option.

I would strongly recomment all consumers to avoid dc lighting as my experience leaves me £80 out of pocket and mentally scared.

I hope this review makes its way to the director(s) of the company so they are made aware of my bad experience.

Bought my Lounge 5 arc lamp from dc lighting, really nice light and I had it the day after I ordered it. Very reasonable too as Furniture Village were selling it for a lot more money and didn't have it stock.
