As of now the site has changed its main purpose. From chat website for all people around the world to a LIVE chat ??! How did this happened? Can anyone explain ?

Person.com was once an excellent site, however since the middle of last year it has been is a constant decline, with numerous problems, I have sent numerous enquiries to their support team, and not one has been responded to, I have been a member for a number of years, and when I first started there would be upwards of 3000 people online on the site at any one time, a couple of weeks ago that was down to an average of about 800, and this last week it has decreased even further to 257 online just now, ....cams don't work, messages don't go through, and worst of all when you enquire why, no one responds to you...certainly do not pay for membership here, it is now a site that is just a waste of your time and money

its a great chat site when its working,but its not worked for about 2 months now,i can log in ok,but when i click on a sort face,no think happens,ive loged n on oather name,it worked for 4 days then nothink again,i hope they fix it soon,i have lots of nice freinds there.

What is going on with this site. It never works properly. Cam images in Live Cams screen no longer update. Text messages take a long time to go through or not at all. And the IMS Screen hardly ever works so you cannot view live cams anyway. Do they actually have IT people to fox these things or is this site run by amateurs in someones garage? No way I would pay to be a member on this site.

Just awful. I don't know who is operating this site. I had my account for a week, I haven't logged in for several days and today when I tried to log in I got a message saying my account was suspended because of a "dating scam". What the ..... My profile simply states I am just looking for people to chat with and not looking for any serious relationship, and stated nicely not to contact me if anyone is looking for their " dream woman". How is this a scam? I didn't think you were obligated to find a lifelong partner on here or your account will be suspended if you choose not to. Nonetheless there is no way I could be scamming people, nor am I trying to or want to. I cant even submit a ticket or contact the site administration in any way. Well, screw this site, they can go ahead and delete my account.

person.com, is a waste of time full of fake from Africa and so on, sad to say if you looking for some one real on here then your wasting your time, your better off going to the pub , or go on a speed dating, i chat to more ladies at work then on this site. sorry i ever joined it, waste of time , time which i cant get back.

The site is fixated about you exchanging links to other online communities you might belong to and as inbuilt software to prevent you from doing it. This is especially difficult if you belong to minority communities. I would like other person.com to contact Big Brother i.e. person.admin and ask them to stop their paranoia and loosen their rules.

Person.com is a disgrace and should be shut down . Its owners and admin are unethical and are exploiting it's members. They now own a sister site ( XXsite)to which they have joined every member of person.com with out informing them . They have made profiles of which screen shots have been taken from their live webcam broadcasts and placed on there for all to see. They are also streaming live 18+ broadcasts to their sister site with out informing members .In the first few weeks they were also broadcasting members webcams that weren't 18+ to their XXX site.

When admin was challenged by it's members about this , they said they can do as they please with members information as per terms section 16 on Terms .

'Person.com' review. 2010: Scammers/spammers/seedy vile predatory men/cheap slutty women degrading themselves/countless poor Fillipino women(many of a questionable age)who want to get the attention of 'rich' Western men by flaunting themselves on cam - all are RIFE on here.These type of people seem to be the rule,NOT the exception.Yes,there ARE some seemingly 'normal' people still left on this site but like me, they are leaving in their droves because they get sick of all the afore-mentioned sick/deperate people.I'm not naive or all that prudish and realise that some people just want some harmless fun on cam or whatever but on here,alot of people's morals are seriousley in question and really scraping the barrel of what's acceptable.

Some people reviewing this site can be blase about all the dubious activity going on in the background and can ignore it but for me,personally,I don't want to be associated with a site which seemingly has very little in the way of regulators/moderators and is full of the lowest common denominators in society.In my opionion,this site should be classed 100% as an adult sex site(it even has 'premium' webcams showing adult content)because it attracts all types of 'undesirables' who overflow into the 'normal' social networking side of things.Even the supposedly 'safe' cam mode(as opposed to 'adult')quite frequently shows preview screens of a really dubious nature(even more worryingly,you can see the number of viewers and quite often there will be 100's of people looking at a disturbing image.Exactly my point about the type of people you get on here) - you can report/complain about such stuff but it's a drop in the ocean and i'm sure most people don't bother complaining(many are probably enjoying watching it!).

From a local dating angle,sure,you can find people near you quite easily and it is free to message them(unlike most dating sites)but again,with the odd exception,alot of the women on here(i'm in the UK)seem to be a mixture of offensive,tarty(married and looking for sex with strangers),vacuous and cheap with very low morals.Scummy.Really not my type!I imagine the men are even worse.Like I said,there are some good people on here if you can be bothered to search through all the rubbish but i'd rather spend my time on a quality site(even if it means paying a little)which attracts a better class of people and rejects the rest.I hope you found this review helpful.

If you have a brain cell left in your head and used it you could meet some great people on person.com, has the old saying goes don't meet straight away but get to know them well first. Just remember all chat sites have their morons and weirdos. Person.com has every culture on there because its good so you won't be left short without the aliens either 'LAUGH OUT LOUD' yes that's right even the aliens love to do webcams on there to fantastic its even better then faceparty.com in my opinion.

Forum section is fun but mainly dominated by flamers and people who are too scared of the flamers to defend themselves. If you don't mind verbal abuse and enjoy a bit of verbal sparring this maybe the place for you. Despite other reports it is almost impossible to get barred from this site, the moderators seem to let almost anything go.
