I first contacted this firm in the spring last year, after a bad experience with one solicitor ,I returned to this company and asked then to go ahead with my case. For a year, they had my paperwork, I heard nothing from them and they wouldn't respond to calls or emails. It was stressful and depressing, dealing with bereavement is difficult enough, made worse by the unprofessionalism and inefficiency of these people.

I eventually went to the office in Tunbridge, it's on the first floor, there is no bell and it's pointless calling , they weren't answering the phone to me. Fortunately, I got into the building as someone left, I got into the office despite their efforts to remain in isolation. I discovered that ,in one year, only the tax forms were completed, I was given some story about an errant staff member who has been dismissed that very day, apparently. I also had an apology , it's not acceptable when I discovered that I wasn't the only one who had been strung along like this.

If I hadn't gone to the office that day, I would still be wondering what was going on.

Despite the offer given to carry on, there was just no way, I couldn't trust this firm any longer.

I recommend that you stay away,find a reliable solicitor. I did and at last , my case is progressing, probate has been granted after just two months.

Avoid this firm at all costs.

I was in an extremely venerable state at the time when I contacted them about my issues at work. they were lovely on the phone but we were trying to agree a settlement with my employer. we did not even get passed early consultation stage and my bill came to £10,000, with e-mails going back and forth... I have spoken to other firms and they said a settlement agreement should only cost 2,000 ... Please do not use this firm .... I got no were with them and I got no resolution because I had no more money to take them to tribunal. its a money making game to them .......

I would have liked to know, that I could have got legal aid, how much it was going to cost and if they could actually help.

I have never left a review before but I do not want this to happen to anyone else, who is venerable ...

Beware of their charges. I went for advise on Settlement agreement, and the solicitor was so nice on the phone and immediately booked me in for appointment to see her. First question was "How much my employer was covering" she reassured me that the amount will be enough and it will cover few negotiations back and forth,but providing I signed it will be enough, and I wouldn't pay a penny. This was only until I signed their T&C. After this she had threatened to charge me for every e-mail send and received, even after I had agreed to sign,I had to go back and forth with her for a few spelling mistakes like my name and few words on the reference and she still send me the additional bill.

Some solicitors charge fixed charges on Settlement Agreement, read the reviews before you meet them.
