I am dealing with Optima (appointed by the Clydesdale) on a re-mortgage. Every single interaction with them is depressing. You will need to chase everything and the delay is always blamed on "some other teams needs to this/that". There is no ownership by anyone and they will not commit to any timescales for anything (everything is a couple of days away) When I pushed I was told that as a business they do have any service levels in place.
I have never come across a company that exhibits such poor customer service and lack of professionalism. I hope the SRA investigate this firm and strike off the Managing Partner because it is an embarrassment to the legal profession.
