I've been using this laptop since October 2005. great screen and speakers.
I just had to replace the graphics card once, and it was under warranty.
the fan is noisy and its overheat.

Screen went pixelated in the 2nd year, got it repaired for £500 with Toshiba reo'd partner and within 1.5 years the same has happened. Fed up with machine and with Toshiba who strenuously denied they were selling pcs with a known problem.

I bought Toshiba Qosmio F10 almost 5 years ago,
I'm kind of person who spend more than 5 hours per day at least on my laptop surfing, using Photoshop, downloading software, gaming online and watching movies. the day i bought this laptop is like yesterday, it's amazing machine, it's written on the laptop "qosmio engine", i was laughing about it, but now i'm really laughing at my self.
I only can say: it's really engine with high screen quality.
I should say that i noticed a real problem within the first 5 months in my laptop, So I took it to Toshiba agency, they told me a problem in the motherboard. it was solved by replacing something in the motherboard (warranty covered it). that was the first and last problem I had with my laptop.

I dont know what you are all moaning about i have had my Toshiba Qosmio F10 for almost 4 years now and apart from the fan making a bit of noise it still works perfect.

Nothing but problems, Toshiba kept very quiet about problems with the Mother board. It cost more to repair than buying another computer. So I bought a new HP. Now I see I could have had it repaired for FREE.
I have had 3 toshiba computers but I feel totally let down with this one. Not buying Toshiba ever again

So far I've had my laptop for 3 years, I had to replace the hard drive, video card, motherboard. I'm having problems with with my cd/dvd rom drive atm, although I added more ram about 2 years ago its been an ok system. Watch out where you place your palms when typing or another program comes up. (I've actually used another mouse and de-activated my touch pad) it gets pretty hot so I have a cooler one on it all the time.

Motherboard crashed and one of the cooling fans stopped working and had to be replaced. Overheating a common problem in my experience that I've noticed others also have, likely a design flaw with this machine. Something to do with the Nvidia graphics card and motherboard-fan unit. For me this Toshiba laptop is too expensive and doesn't last therefore I do not recommend the Toshiba Qosmio F10.

The Toshiba Qosmio F10 has been an utter nightmare for me. Motherboard had to be replaced, battery recharger had to be replaced and now the hard drive has had to be replaced. Just to make matters worse, Toshiba wont send me a replacement back up CD which is charming, given the fact I paid £1500 three years ago for this machine. Would never, ever buy nor recommend a Toshiba laptop to anyone. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

This laptop is easy to use as it has windows installed. The screen is huge and is brilliant.

I would buy this laptop again because I mainly care about watch-ability for movies and TV.

Three months old. Cooling Fan and Keyboard had to be replaced.
15 Months on Mother board is US... Dont recommend Toshiba Qosmio F10 laptop.

This Toshiba Qosmio Laptop has a nice clear screen. Its very easy to use but in my opinion the battery does not last long, at all. I would recommend this Toshiba Laptop but watch where you keep your palm when typing!

More less the same happened to me with the same model. I'm so upset that Toshiba has done nothing to help and charge so much for fun and motherboard, parts causing the problem. So the even make money on their own mistake!
