Hoho's is a very nice Chinese restaurant in the centre of Lees Village. But as Chinese restaurants go, it is a little on the expensive side, dependant on what you choose.
I am sure that you could go and not spend too much, but it is easy to get carried away and spend quite a lot.
An example; we dined there last night, and I do have to say it is probably one of the best meals that we have had at Hoho's, but it was also one of the most expensive.
For starters we had a mixed platter, which was £8 each. For mains I had Salt and Pepper Fillet Steak, which was £12.95 and my husband had Duck (I cannot remember what the sauce was that it was served with, but is was chosen off the specials board), and this was also £12.95. We then paid extra for rice, had 2 drinks each and a bottle of Chardonnay (which was £16.95) - the total of the bill including service charge came to £82.78, which is quite a lot for 2 people.
Don't get me wrong, this would not stop me going again, as the food really was lovely. The service was great, and we had a fantastic time, but as this is a review and people may read this before going, I thought it best to make you aware that if you don't watch what you are ordering, the cost soon mounts up.
However, that said, if you do not mind the cost or you are prepared to work to a budget then I would recommend Hoho's. The environment is nice; quite lively and fun (a little noisy at the weekends though), and it is a good place to dine, especially if you are going to treat yourselves.
