The Samsung LE40B550 is a superb TV, not only in brilliant picture and sound but however in looks and design and features.
It is light, economical to use and a lot cooler than the plasma tv I previously used that only lasted 4 years! This one came with a free 5 year warranty from Costco. I have it linked up to Sky HD, A Sony DVD recorder, A playstation 3 and a seperate dvd player and there is still pleanty of room for more with lots of HDMI and Scart sockets, plus the normal Coax sockets.
There is a smart touch panel on the tv that is almost invisible to add to the smartness of this TV, so no buttons to push and break.
All in all this is one, if not possibly, the best value for money TV out there and we liked it so much, we bought another one for my parents!
Brilliant 5/5 on all counts.

As a normal user without 'special' eyes and ears (given only to professional media centre reviewers) I can honestly say that this is a brilliant television!

I have my PC running through it, SkyHD hooked up and occasionally use the inbuilt freeview - all look great (both SD and HD). The sheer number of options is amazing and if you like to tweak colours / noise reduction algorithms then you'll love this tele. There are plenty of inputs, but sadly no USB or card reader - no big deal in my mind, it's hooked up to a PC anyway!

Only weak point is the sound, after about 40 (0 - 100) it doesn't seem to get any louder and this can be annoying in a big room, but for the price (~£450 for me) you really can argue! Plus if it bothers you just get a home cinema set up with your saved cash...
