We have a master bedroom in the eaves of our house.. It is an awkward shape, both due to the angular roof and the depth of the space that is below head height. We also wanted very much to be able to integrate a sleigh bed into the space.

He worked with us to work out the best way to use the space, both listening to our ideas and contributing his experience to explain what would work and what would not. We did not want a "flat pack" finish so we were keen to add some "hidden drawers" in a bevelled edge. He drew up a CAD diagram of how it would look and then commenced work.

It is by necessity messy work, but he minimised the dust and disruption, tidied up at the end of each day And was very respectful of our propoerty. He works like a true craftsman, and takes great care over detail and the finish. The final outcome was a fantastically fitted bedroom, that looks truly bespoke in nature. The ideas that he contributed have definitely added to the overall effect of the bedroom. I have no doubt that we would not have been able to achieve this standard with another company.

He is not the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for. We will definitely be using him again in the future.

We had a complete kitchen makeover and were confident about this man from the off (helped by the other favourable reviews here). He executed our brief brilliantly and exactly as per his quote (all the extra costs we incurred were as a result of choices we made with no influence from the advisor)and we are delighted with the result - a beautiful bespoke kitchen that we're confident will last for years. We particularly liked his manner, attention to detail, communication, ability to work with other contractors, willingness to listen to our ideas and address any issues promptly.

Fantastic service. Great attention to detail in the planning and installation, with a personal service. Computer generated images used very effectively in the design process to give us a feel for what the project might look like and allow changes to be made. The final product being identical to the plans. All costs itemised before work commenced and no hidden extras or surprises. High quality bespoke kitchen furniture with the flexibility to fit the room/space available. The kitchen is exactly what we wanted, looks great and we would not hesitate to thoroughly recommend this company.

We recently moved into an old victorian house and wanted to make a big living room cosy. I researched alcove units for some time and knew precisely what I wanted. After a few disappointing quotes from local carpenters, who simply didn't have experience of making original looking alcove units, I came across Alex Fitzpatrick online. He arrived to provide a quote and I was instantly impressed by his professionalism. He provided images of previous work that looked precisely what I had in mind and raised points I simply hadn't considered such as lighting, plug sockets and adjustable shelving. Bespoke furniture is expensive for us, and so getting it right was really important. I absolutely cannot fault Alex. His attention to detail was meticulous. Every tiny detail was considered and discussed and the overall result has exceeded all expectations. I love it when we have guests and they say how lucky we are that owners before us didn't remove the original units!!! That is a huge compliment to Alex as it was the look I so desperately wanted to achieve. So many people have asked for Alex's details having seen our alcove units and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is approachable, professional and a pleasure to have working in our home. Alex is an ideal person to have working in your home. Polite, hardworking, tidy, trustworthy, excellent attention to detail and quality. High standard of finish and matching of details to existing period features. Would highly recommend.

We did quite a lot of shopping around for a bookcase unit with cupboard space underneath, we found that bespoke office furniture companies were very keen to sell us what they could produce (pre fabricated units strapped together) rather than make what we actually wanted

After searching online we decided to get a quote from Alexander Fitzpatrick Ltd. and were very pleased at his willingness to build what we needed. He had some good ideas on the design and additional features such as including powerpoints. He had no problem adding an additional powerpoint inside the cupboard on the day he came to install it.

Overall I would recommend Alexander Fitzpatrick Ltd. as he built exactly what we wanted to a very good standard at a reasonable price.

I have used Alex on two projects in our house. He build us two bespoke wardrobes, and a complete bespoke, fitted office.

On both occasions he was a pleasure to work with, and delivered fantastic results which were comparable to (if not better than) the very well known (I'm not sure if we are allowed to mention names here, so I won't!) high end bespoke furniture manufacturers.

I would recommend him to anyone. He has since completed work for good friends of mine, all of whom have been absolutely delighted with his work.

I would recommend Alex without hesitation. When we moved into our new house the master bedroom was an odd shape with unevenly sized alcoves. We looked around but couldn't find any acceptable,stylish solutions until we found Alex. He built us three stunning wardrobes that turned an odd shaped room into the highlight of the house and what is now our favourite room. Moreover he was a pleasure to have in the house, turned up on time, worked hard and completed everything as promised. You get what you pay for and with Alex you get stunning craftsmanship by a true professional. Very highly recommended.
