Disgusting customer service Not the staff in store but the repair team and the customer service department... My mrs took her engagement ring for clean and re size and they have shaved the clasp down holding the stone in place and have refused to take any responsability, the store staff clearley new the repair team have messed up and have informed us that the repair team have stated if we are not happy just make a complaint, this is so unprofessional and un called for, i emailed to complain as no number is available and recived a reply of the repair team said they diddnt do it.. jokers very un professional never ever trust this company with any jewellery with any sentimental value they are 100% not to be trusted shocking from the customer care staff.

Well if I only I'd read the reviews before asking my 13 year daughter to pick my wife something for valentines. Bought 12/2/24, returned 03/03/24. The store manager at Warrington offered shockingly bad service. She actually claimed that my wife had snapped it as she could see fluff in the bracelet. I had to laugh. They refused the refund on this basis and it seems that they refuse all refunds by the look of it. What they won't find funny is that they've been given 14 days to refund it or I'll be filling out a county court claim form. A lot of hassle you might think for a cheap bracelet?. Yes it is, but it's the principle. You can't let animals like this loose on the high street without making them accountable. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Bought a bracelet set as a gift. When the bracelets were worn for the first time, one broke. I took the broken bracelet back and asked for an exchange. Told needed to bring both as a set. So I went back on my next free day, only to be told they don't do exchanges or refunds. I was given a form and basically told to get lost. If you want to keep customers happy, exchange faulty products. A bracelet should be able to be worn. It shouldn't break first time out. Either it is faulty or not fit for purpose. Don't buy from the Plymouth shop. You will regret the decision. Bad product, bad staff and a company policy that doesn't care. Appalling.

Wish I had read the reviews 1st, spent £100 on a ring here but now H.Samuel have to put Warren James's mistake right at an extra cost to us, Warren James are incompetent and customer service ..... Don't make me laugh, once Warren James have your money they don't care about you, tried to get them to sort their incompetence out but they refused to BUT they will sort their mistake but only if we pay them extra and this is after they have got me to email them the receipt, what's the point if they not prepared to sort THEIR mess out. Don't trust them, I've got trading standards involved with this.

Bought the wife a suprise 50th ring. Told the manageress that there's a 50/50 chance she wouldn't like it and could I return it. She said yes.What she didn't tell me although she had ample time to tell me was that there is a NO REFUNDS POLICY and I could exchange or a 6 months credit note. Shocking and misleading. Never will I go through their doors again

I purchased my elderly mother a pair of earrings at Skegness branch and when I went to take the back off the earring fell to pieces, very cheaply made. I returned these asking for a refund, was told I could have another item in exchange but no refund, obviously I had doubts about the quality of products, so was offered a credit note in exchange which is lasts six months. She told me it stated this on the receipt, I could see nothing only replace or credit. I am appalled with this and will not recommend them to anyone. Given that Skegness is losing shops daily at the moment I am surprised at this statement. if I had purchased these online I could have a refund to my account but not in the shop. Ridiculous in this day and age and I wont shop there again, apart from using credit before it runs out and hopefully can find an item which is not of very poor quality.

My husband and I bought our wedding rings from the above store on 13th October for our wedding on 26th October. The rings were taken home, placed in ring boxes and left there until our wedding day on 26th October. Once my husband’s ring was on, he realised that his hands must have been swollen through the heat in the store when we purchased the rings, as his was now too big, so the next day when we got home the ring was placed back into the ring box so that we could return it and exchange it for a smaller size. Fast forward to today, and the service and attitude we received at the Braehead, Glasgow store was intolerable, the girl behind the counter took the ring and immediately said she needed to go and speak to her manager, she came back no longer than two seconds later to say that the ring had scuff marks on it, was showing signs of wear and therefore could not be exchanged!!!! We were absolutely horrified as this ring had only been worn for a maximum of twenty four hours so we can only assume that if it was showing signs of wear or did have scuff marks these were there when we initially purchased the ring We tried to explain this however were brushed aside. I asked for the head office contact details and was then told that only the manager could give that out. To add further injury, the assistant then proceeded to offer to SELL us another ring, this clearly shows no customer care, no empathy and that all they are interested in is money-grabbing!! Dreadful customer service!!!! AND how stupid did she think we are!!! To know beyond doubt that whatever damage (if indeed there really is any) must have quite obviously have been there beforehand did she really think we would even imagine purchasing anything else from there!! We are confident beyond doubt that the ring is either not scuffed/scratched at all, or if it is that this damage was caused prior to purchase and we were sold a sub-standard item. Incidentally, the ring is titanium which is supposed to be scuff and scratch resistant!!! We are, quite frankly appalled by this experience, and can assure you that we will never again purchase anything from Warren James as from this experience we can only assume that customers are being sold sub-standard goods, so that Warren James can avoid having to exchange or refund goods. We find this entire situation has placed a very large question mark over the ethics of Warren James as a company and over the quality of your products, as to allege that something has been damaged by a customer when quite clearly knowing that this is not the case is just unethical, immoral and downright disgusting. We have also now purchased a replacement ring from another jeweller who will hopefully be more ethical and honest with their customers!!!

Horrendous experience. Products are over priced and poor quality and lose their sparkle in just a few weeks. Above all, their instore customer service is the worst i have ever experienced to date and they have the most rude and obnoxious staff who need some serious training on customer relations. Having read the negative reviews online and everyone complaining of the same issue it appears Warren James are just an all out incompetent company with atrocious customer service running rampant across ALL their branches nationwide. I was gifted a ring costing in excess of £100 which did not fit, i attempted to return it instore and the rude staff accused me of wearing it and scratching it and refused to refund or exchange. I was outraged to say the least and had to pursue a complaint with head office to return the ring. I was forced to make 3 visits to the store just to get my refund where staff treated me like a criminal and demanded i produce some formal I.D to get my refund ( in addition to my original card i paid with). Never have i experienced anything so diabolical in my life. The obnoxious staff member informed me that they categorically have a NO REFUND policy for any item bought instore. So people need to be made aware that once you have purchased a product instore, its impossible to get a refund if you change your mind after a few days. This is NOT made clear on the receipt. A 1 star rating is too generous for them, will never be purchasing from here again.

Looolol what is the "key elements to like" from warren james. Just saying guys if youre going to order something you have to order it 1234 weeks before if youre willing to get it on time if youre lucky. Thought they were professional clearly theyre not thi was my first time ordering from here and damn theyre taking there time and on top of that they took money. Guys dont order from here ebay is better comapred to this brand. I called them up and got some poo service. Hope theyre reading this please fix up or shut down youre store if youre going to continue like this!!!! Have nice day byeeeee

Firstly I've given 1 star because the service I've received has been good the 2 times I've shopped here but the items I've bought have both broken after 2 weeks for a pair of earrings & the latest sterling silver bangle £22 [I can't believe it was reduced from £69 then £29!] . lasted just a few days before the little ball at the end broke off without it being knocked or pulled in any way . I didn't keep the receipt so won't even try to take it back but reading other reviews I wouldn't have got a refund anyway & certainly don't want anything else ever again from that store .....pay cheap pay twice comes to mind.

I went to my local store as I had choosen a gift for my niece for passing her exams. I checked the item was there it was so I just needed to pay for it get it packaged and go easy right ?? Wrong very wrong after 25 mins waiting patiently to be served I asked if it was possible to be served as I new what I wanted woukdctake minutes one assistant was stood with 2 guys just taking pictures on there phone of bracelet after bracelet another lady was trying on rings and was allready there when I went so god knows how long she was trying on yet to decide on a ring. One sssustant just shrugged at me when I asked and just said there's only 2 of us 2 people had allready left by this time who also new what they wanted. As this was a gift I didn't wanted it for the nxt day I tried to be patient but as the minuets ticked by and I had an appointment I asked again politely saying I no exactly what I want I'll take it as it is just want to pay for to be told in all I can say was a rude manner I can't serve you when I'm with someone else even though the ring Kady said go ahead I'm still deciding to be told no it's policy ??? Warren James as long as you can live with your loosing customers policy that's fine 4 people left without buying what they wanted and I went to another jewellers and purchased my gift. I will not give them my custom again either Rude staff terrible customer service I am sure the company would like to know that their sales staff couldn't care less if they loose custom shame

Ordered a ring online as my size was unavailable in store.Wasn't expensive but lovely and just what i was looking for.Have had the ring for 11 weeks and one of the stones has fallen out.I assumed that on returning to the store they would either offer a repair or replace the ring.....how wrong was I ? The girl in store looked at my ring and said the stone had come out as I wore it to wash my hands !!! Now as the ring was silver I fully expected it to withstand the washing of hands ! No instructions were given to me at any time advising me to remove my ring each time I washed my hands ! Apparently the washing of hands causes the stones to become uncemented according to the shop assistant.I asked to speak to the manager and she confirmed that the washing of hands wearing the ring causes the stones to fall out.No offer of repair was given and when I asked for it to be replaced as it was faulty I was told it was accidental damage and there was nothing that they could offer.Disgraceful.I don't lose my temper very often but I'm afraid I did then.Wish I'd read the online reviews before my purchase as they are all singing from my hymn sheet.Seems Warren James are an awful company to work for as well as providing the worst customer service that I have ever come across.Avoid,avoid,avoid.

bought 4 silver chains but not as expected, followin day returned to shop for refund. 'COMPANY POLICY..... NO REFUNDS JUST VOUCHER TO RECEIPT VALUE. Have referred matter to trading standards, but not holding my breath. They have lost another customer. AVOID THIS COMPANY

The staff at the ipswich branch were exceptionally helpfully.i had a problem with a ring and a bracelet and they went out of their way to solve the problem.lovely helpful friendly staff.

Awful shop I got engaged several months ago the headache I’ve had over my ring size it’s discusting still waiting!. My partner was not made aware of there refund policy was not advices on limited rings. When you get engaged it’s suppose to be a memeral time suppose to be special not stress or upset. I would highly recommend Not too shop at warren

I don't usually wear rings and therefore didn't know my size. They checked my size and told me I was an H. I paid deposit for my ring which they said can be ordered in size I and downsize it to H. I checked with the staff at 3 different occassions if this was possible and if they could definitely order size I. They assured me and took my deposit. A week later I received a call to say that they couldn't get size I. There wasnt even an apology! I was tight for time and went to different jeweller to look at different ring. This jeweller told me I was definitely not an H but J. That is two size up!!!! So they sized me wrong! They have little knowledge about their product! Extremely poor customer service! Never going back!

A refund doesn’t need to given unless item is faulty. According to statuary rights, it’s consumers responsibility to check whether an item can be refunded in store. When you purchased the items you was under an agreement that they would be suitable, however due to your negligence you have assumed you can return something. The company is not at fault here.
