“14 day letter”

Written on: 08/05/2013 by jackiehad (1 review written)

I have received a 14 day letter that because we have arrears on IVA that the IVA will fail very upset and not happy 2009 IVA started then May 2010 husband had heart attack so had problems paying until returned to work about 6 months then July 2011 husband lost job and was out of work for 5 months so already not had a good few years. Then April 2013 husband been give 45 days notice so might be made redundant I have always told payplan and over the past 6 months fell behind with payments but offered to pay extra 100 pounds to clear account I received letter giving me 3 months but i informed them it will take about 6 months then the fun started I had already told them that husband might be out of work but was still making payment last payment was late and had to pay two months because old job held back his wages but i informed payplan. I feel that because i told the my husband might loss his jobs they are not giving me time to pay back the arrears which with husbands would only take me 7 month or less I am upset because I lent the money and would like to pay it back but they are making this hard as if my IVA fails then i might have to go bankruptcy which I do not want to do as I owe the money then I should pay as much back as I can

I am sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction and of your recent turn of events.

I would ask that you contact me directly with your details and I can then pass them on to the relevant department to fully assess the options available to you and your IVA.

My e-mail address is: samuel.jepson@payplan.com.
