They welcomed us in a way that was totally unexpected, there was even a welcome pack for us on the kitchen table. The Monteviste apartment is simply beautiful, it's fully equipped, beautifully restored and you can see her hand every where - those litte touches that make a welcoming home.

One morning we were lying in the big double bed looking through the French windows across the valley to Bugnara and thinking, "self-catering doesn't come any better than this".

We attempted to rent this unit. We provided all the details, the rate was quoted, availability was confirmed and then all of a sudden the owner, Clive, had a change of heart...new rate..Almost double the price of what was orginally quoted to us and what was posted on the website!!

Clive was very rude in his email correspondence and I would never do business with this couple again. It's a shame as it looks like it would have been a lovely property to stay in.

Monteviste Self Catering apartments in Abruzzo is a haven of peace in a stressful world. Wonderful team, great apartment and fantastic staff. Thank you to all staff for their generosity, kindness and patience and an especially lovely picnic! We hope to visit again very soon!
