Marbella, Hotel Fuerte

We completed our 15th visit with a 10 day holiday in November which says a great deal about how we feel about the hotel and Marbella in general. The hotel is a magnificent building set in a lovely location directly on the promenade but close to the Old Town with all its interesting features. It is spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished with very large public rooms. Quality entertainment is provided in the large bar area on some evenings and for those that want them activities are organised on some days each week. Breakfast and dinner are provided in the form of buffets with extensive varieties of food to suit all tastes supplemented by a dedicated chef providing freshly cooked eggs at breakfast and fish and meat at dinner. The staff are very friendly particularly in the bar and dining room.An indoor and an outdoor swimming pool and a substantial garden with dozens of sunbeds contribute to an excellent hoidy

We just spent a wonderful time at the Hotel Fuerte Marbella. A lovely warm indoor swimming-pool. A very nice botanical garden. Everything was perfect. The service was very good. When we asked a bathmat for our room, we immediately got it.

Really clean. Perfect bed. Very comfortable matress and nice linen.

Nice and helpfull reception staff.

Very recomendable SPA, jetts, jacuzzi, sauna, vichy shower, turkish bath...

I have stopped at this hotel many times, most recently last week leaving on 28 October 2013. The reception staff are most helpful and obliging. The restaurant staff are friendly and helpful and the food is great, both buffet breakfasts and evening meals. It is the best location in marbella bar none, on the beach and close to the old town restaurants. Very close to 5 star quality but amazing value. Looking forward to next visit

We have visited the Fuerte Hotel, Marbella on several occasions in recent years and find it an excellent establishment. The rooms are tasteful and well furnished and excellent in décor. The pool and garden areas are well kept and scenic and overlooking the beach.

One of the main features of the hotel is the excellent restaurant both for breakfast and dinner. The hotel is well situated where you can access the beach, old town and bus stations easily on foot.

There is an excellent indoor swimming pool and there are also computing facilities readily at hand. There is security exit to and from the beach.

Loved, loved, loved Hotel Fuerte! It is located on the beach with direct access. The hotel grounds are beautiful with an outside lap pool and luxury pool. Plenty of lounge chairs with great views of the ocean. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak several languages. The location is perfect. Located along a long boardwalk full of restaurantes and shops and direct access to the beach. A 5 min walk to old town. Hotel is well kept with nightly entertainment and great food! I highly recommend this hotel for a long vacation and weekend getaway.

We enjoyed a relaxing holiday in Hotel Fuerte Marbella. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The sea front location is perfect. This was our second trip and we hope to visit again

We have just returned from a great break at this hotel. From the moment we arrived to a very friendly welcome from the lady at reception our sea facing room was everything we had expected and the standard of décor and cleanliness was excellent. Every member of staff spoke and acknowledged you in passing and the buffet style breakfast was of a very standard with the option to sit inside our out in the sunshine. There were more than enough sunbeds at the pool area and access to the beach by a security operated gate. The food and drink prices were very competitive with restaurant and bar prices in Marbella which resulted in the hotel bar and function area being busy in the evening accompanied by evening entertainment.

My wife and I will be returning to this hotel in the future as we have stayed in many hotels in Costa Del Sol and this is undoubtedly the best

I have just spent a week at Fuerte Marbella and whilst I was expecting a good service, it really exceeded my expectations in all areas.the professionalism and courtesy of the staff and the exceptionally high quality and variety of food offered are worthy of special mention.

I would recommend this hotel and would really like to stay in another Hotel Fuerte in the future.
