We stayed in the hotel following a recommendation by friends travelling with children who were in Hanoi a month before us. The family room and beds were huge and very comfortable, the location superb (a block from lake and water puppet theatre) and the female staff very good on customer service. The breakfast was good too for a three star - fresh and decent choice. Very impressed for the price we paid and would recommend to other families.

We decided to book Indochina Legend hotel because of the service and helpfulness of all staffs there. The room is big, clean and comfortable. We stayed here for 2 nights then took a trip to Sapa, Halongbay. The hotel organized the trips for us and it was wonderful experience. They keep our lugguage during the time travelling to Halong bay and Sapa. When I came back from Ha Long, they arranged a room for free shower which I highly appreciated. We love the the person at front desk . He is so friendly, get out of his way to make sure the best things for us. We also asked them to organize the rest of our trip to Hue, Hoi An and Nha Trang. The hotels they booked for us was excellent. We enjoyed some trips there very much expecially in Nha Trang . The weather and island is so beautiful. They called us everyday to check we got good services. Vietnam is a nice country , nice people. I will definitely come back and stay at Indochina Legend hotel. It is the best hotel I have had.

I and my husband stayed at many hotels in Hanoi but Indochina Legend hotel was the best. Located in the centre of old quarter, just 2 minutes to the Hoan Kiem lake, very close to famous sites. Breakfast was on the top floor, variety of choice, nice view of city. We planed to travel from Hanoi down to Ho Chi Minh city. I looked a market on Internet but I decided to book Halong bay, Sapa, Hue, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh trips at the hotel as recommended from my friend. The price wasn’t higher than outside and worth money. The hotel arranged a perfect tours for us. I really enjoyed it and had no problem at all. We definitely recommend this great company.

I can’t say enough about this hotel. Upon arrival, I was greeted politely by the manager. She offered fresh fruit, drinks. Free map is better than expected. It was the first time to Vietnam so I didn’t know anything. I had 4 weeks holiday. I talked with hotel staffs and they gave us a good plan during 4 weeks in Vietnam including Halong bay, Sapa, then down to the south Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh city. They offered us a total price for everything. At first, we didn’t book yet and went to our room for thinking again. Finally I decided to book a package at the hotel as I got good deal with good services. They didn’t make us disappointed. We really enjoyed time in Vietnam. Everything was fabulous. If you want to travel somewhere , just talk with them, easy for you. I highly recommend to everyone.

French and English, that's a plus for french customer particularly), friendly and always ready to help. Fruit was prepared in the room everyday for free. Breakfast of the hotel with wide range of food, easy to choose for our taste. Thanks to Ms Huyen who manage the tours and book hotel for us during our trip in Vietnam (Halong was very special, Sapa, Perfume Pagoda, hotel & city tour in Hue, Hoi An in Danang, HCMC & Mekong delta, everything was perfect). Before departure to Hanoi, we didn't think that taking tour with a hotel was so easy and convenient. All in all, staying in Indochina Legend Hotel and using their service was a very good experience in Hanoi, feeling really comfortable and we would like to recommend the hotel to everyone who is about to take a tour in Vietnam.

That was the time we felt really happy to stay at Indochina Legend Hotel. Could not find anyone better than this for the budget. Rooms spacious, fresh air with nice decoration, well equipped equal a five star hotel, I think. Staff work professionally .

Our family had a wonderful time at Indochina Legend Hotel when we were on the holiday in Hanoi. All the time we spent there, everything was perfect, nothing was such a trouble. Room, breakfast, staff, tour manager, price and facilities, they all were perfect. 100% recommend the hotel to you. Top stop in Hanoi!

I and my family stayed here for 2 nights. The location of the hotel was the most highlight (close to the most necessary for tourists: attractions, souvenir shops, eateries, etc). Then the rooms were comfy and well-organized with even a complementary laptop connected to Internet. The overall design of the hotel was friendly and cozy. We booked a flight to Hochiminh city, so we just took a city tour on the second day. The hotel staff were very helpful and professional in organizing the tour for us. Thank to staff’s suggestion, we started our trip from Phu Quoc Island to Nha Trang, Da Lat, Hoi An and Hue, then back to the North to enjoy Sapa, Halong Bay. All of the tours were amazing good. The destinations all provide us with unforgettable traveling experience of the landscape and people. We couldn’t believe such a 3-star hotel could organize things so professionally. They were really customer-oriented, listened to our needs and demands and they tried their best, went out of their job to meet all. What impressed me most was the staff. They were always energetic and attentive to help and provide services. During our long journey from the South to the North, they called us and the host hoteliers everyday to ensure everything was fine and satisfactory to us, even though at first we didn’t want to book the tours with them. If you’re going to take some trips in Vietnam, this hotel will be one of the best choices.

Really nice staff. Good breakfast with omelettes done according to your taste. Wireless works fine although I had to open my door room to pick up better signal. Well located in the middle of the shopping area .

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while travelling around Vietnam and it has to be the best experience we have had with a hotel to date (we are doing around the world trip). Upon booking the hotel through booking.com we had communication from them immediately after I requested a transfer from the airport (this will cost you $18us through them). The check in was quick and simple, they were really friendly and could not do enough for us, the room was clean and spacious, complimentery fruit plate and water bottles, flat screenTV and they also have a laptop in the room for you to use which I have never seen before, wifi was fast. Tom Cruise (he called himself) was guest relations and went out of his way to ensure our stay there was brilliant. He arranged our Halong Bay trip for the next day and then booked our train tickets to Hue where we were travelling to next and. He drove us to the train station and put our luggage on the train for us. When we arrived in Hue he called the hotel to make sure we arrived ok and we hadnt even booked the hotel through him. They also had called forward our hotel in Hue and organised our transfer from the station. This was far above anything we expected and we would certainly recommend this hotel to any future travellers.

The rooms were great. We booked 2 rooms for our families and they are clean and well furnished. It's very comfortable. THe breakfast is the best of all ! We love the manageress. She goes out of her way to make sure we got back from Halong Bay to rest and have dinner before heading out again. THe location is also very good for street shopping. We recommend this best value hotel for family vacation. The location of the hotel is perfect with walking distance to most of the major sights, museums and the lake. Also, there are a lot of very good restaurants close by, which is nice after a long day of walking in the hectic traffic. The hotel staff is very much helpful. Already at the point of booking you get an e-mail from the hotel offering to help you arrange trips or with transportation. We were a bit skeptical of the prices of the tour to Halong Bay and did not book it right away as we wanted to check out the market first, but ended up booking through the hotel in the end (through our new friend Tom), as he made everything so easy for us. The tour was very nice by the way - two day cruise with the junk "Marguerite". We would gladly recommend this hotel. The facilities are ok (you get what you pay), the breakfast buffet is ok - but the staff is differnt. They are the spirit of this hotel - and they will make sure you have a good base to return to every night. People in the hotel are most than welcome: they do everything to make sure you feel good. We have four children (13 to 5 years old) and they've moved us (without extra charge) to a very big family room. The breakfast is delicious. They also let us leave our bags for three days while we were away. Excellent hotel I would fully recommend.

The hotel Indochina legend was a restful haven from the chaos of Hanoi Old Town, in which it is situated, and a welcome place to rest the limbs between frantic hours trying to stay alive on the streets where 4 million motorcyclists compete for every inch of space both on the roads and on the pavements ! Overall, the hotel easily lived up to its 3-star rating. Service, however, was 5-star.

Perfect place for budget travelers. All services were in house including travel agent. Staff were all friendly and caring. We were offered free aiport transfer when we booked a city tour and Sapa tour. The traffic in city was scrambled but the tourist spots were worth to see. Sapa tour was incredibly good. For those who like trekking or biking, Sapa is the best option. The staff arranged with a very decent hotel room with fabulous services. We couldn’t be persuaded that tourism was well developing in such remote area until we stayed there. We departed for Nha Trang after Sapa. We let them organize this tour because of our satisfaction in our former tours. It was great too. It was advertised as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and we couldn’t agree more when we experienced it. I’d like to give our gratefulness to the Indochina Legend team for these amazing trips.

The Indochina Legend more than met our requirements, the staff could not do enough for us and booked any trips we wished to go on. Mr Tom was very nice and was the trip advisor at the hotel. A young lady up in the Restaurant also invited us to the zoo and the large lake and took us on many busses to give us an insight into travelling around Vietnam on the service busses, this was very interesting indeed. Every one from the bell boy to the manager were absolutely polite and helpful. I would recomment this hotel to anyone having a city break in Hanoi as the location was perfect.
