The hotel and grounds itself were absolutely immaculate, very well kept. The staff were friendly but make no mistake, like all egyptians they are just being nice to get the dollars out of your pocket.
The rooms are basic and clean but you wont really spend much time in here anyway. We liked to sit out on the balcony at night having a drink(with real beer bought from over the road!)as there wasn't any entertainment on in an evening.Which didn't bother us because i wouldnt want to sit around stroppy, rude foreigners anyway. Not all,but some of the germans and russians were unbelivable. They dont que for anything, they just shout BEER! haha.
The buffet food was just ok,there is enough selection. The resturant meals were really nice 5* food, enjoyed every nights meal.Like most all inclusive resorts the drinks are poor and you couldn't get a wobble on if you drank all day!!around to pool drinks are served in fun size cups, theres no point really.however it was that hot we couldn't drink much during the day anyway!!!
The last thing you need on holiday is hassle and although you might only be hassled about 10 times a day in the resort, you will be hassled a million times more if you step outside. On one occasion me and my partner went to naama bay for the evening, taken there by a taxi driver from the hotel. We asked to be taken to a nice resturant in naama bay but he dropped us off at his friends shop where he would suposedly 'look after us'.We were takin into his shop where he tried to sell us everything in there from pencils to perfume!! and like all egyptians wouldn't take no for an answer!!when we left here we were confronted by more and more aggressive over the top pushy egyptians!! We did eventually find a nice place to eat and had enjoyable drink/smoke to chill us out later!!Its a shame its not worth the hassle leaving the complex!!
We did have a good holiday though and enjoyed relaxing around the pool all day because thats all we went away for.It was just ok but dont think we'll be going back there anytime soon,a week was enough!

You can never feel safe in this hotel. I got my mobile phone stolen from my room. And no one even tried to solve this matter. I don't recommend!

The hotel was outstanding, food was lovely never boring or bland, entertainment was excellent every day and night, staff always polite and the whole place spotless clean. Only 1 bad point and that was the lack of choices when it came to the alcohol. The whole holiday was fantastic there were 10 in our group and we all really really enjoyed our stay,

The Grand Azure is better that you can imagine from the brochure or internet every part of this hotel is wonderful. You never feel crowded as it is so spacious and well laid out. The staff are very friendly and will do what ever they can to make your holiday go well. Wonderful holiday. The only problem we found and this was nothing to do with the hotel what so ever, there are some shops to the right of the hotel after the supermarket and we felt very pressured by them we ended up buying creams just to get out of the shop.

The Hotel was very clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The Jetty off the beach was a long walk but when you get to the end the snorkelling is fantastic! Some guests had no manners what so ever and you will be constantly hassled by the health club team. If you do go to this resort I would definitely do the Chinese and Arabian food. Go snorkelling, Quad biking and the water park (aqua park NOT Cleo park) with out fail. Churchill's cafe up the road is great to!

On the whole the LTI Grand Azure hotel was too big for me, some of the guests are very arrogant and rude. To think you had to get up at 7.30 in morning so one could get a sun bed for the day was absolutely ridiculous, I thought that was a thing of the past. The entertainment could have been more professional in my opinion.

Overall my stay at the LTI grand azure was amazing!
I loved every single bit of my 2 weeks there. Tipping is a good idea because the staff are so polite and friendly and if you give them a tip at the start of your stay there they will make sure your stay is the best it could be!
I reccommend the LTI Grand Azure to everyone its the best hotel I've ever stayed at and I would love to go back soon.

I think that LTI grand azure was a fantastic place, staff very very very helpful and polite, I recommend that you should visit LTI hotel as the rooms are spotless. Food was great very nice and tasty, beach was gorgeous very clean. Only problem staff managers are always watching there staff, they need to let the staff relax and have fun themselves but other than that, the holiday I had was the best. Definitely going back to Egypt definitely definitely going back to LTI Grand Azure hotel !!! I would give it a 10/10 if not higher

grand azure is an amazing hotel other than the entertainment .I think that the ntertainment should be belly dancing, egyptian dancers andthe culture of this place. It was very disapointing to see how rude the russians were to the lovley staff! The food was amazing !the staff were the highlight of the hotel! I would recomend this hotel to anyone !

rooms very spacious, always very clean every day. resort lovely and clean. the a la carte was excellent food. wasn't traveling home till 9pm but they let us keep our rooms on till 5.30pm for only £15 per room.

I found that all the bars and restaurants were severely under manned by staff and as a result of that waiting times were quite prolonged. An aggravating factor is that many of the other guests have no concept of waiting their turn and would quite happily push in front of you. This caused some friction between the the guests. The resort was very clean and well kept by the ground staff and the staff of the A la Carte restaurants were very friendly. Our room was kept immaculate by the cleaners and he has the biggest tip of all. All in all a good hotel if you can ignore the food.

Due to the untrained staff's lack of hygiene knowledge, food poisoning is rife. Two of my days were spent being horribly ill, I was on a drip and had to have injections and a course of antibiotics etc. The hotel doctors were marvelous but so over worked and only getting around two hours of sleep a day. They reported that 70% of the guests that come to the hotel fall ill in varying degrees, that is two out of three people, which means if you don't fall ill you are very lucky indeed! Although we are forgiving about a five star hotel in Egypt not coming up to 5 star standards elsewhere, it is not possible to forgive making people ill and having their well earned holidays ruined. My doctor's bill came to 185 Euros, we tried to speak to the general manager just to point this out and to beg him to do more staff training but he was unconcerned. I would say that unless this problem can be sorted, you are at risk of eating and drinking something that will poison you at this hotel, no matter how careful you are.

I would seriously suggest staying at the LTI Grand Azure, if you are going to Sharm el Sheikh. It is very smart, very big, there is so much to do there. It is right on the beach as well, so you don't have to travel far to see the sea. The maids/cleaners are always cleaning. Literally from 5 o'clock in the morning, to 10 o'clock in the evening, whether it be the gardens they are doing or cleaning the pool, which they do daily, it is just immaculate. The rooms are serviced daily with clean towels every single day, it is just brilliant and there is so much to do. We went swimming with dolphins, which we organised through our rep and it cost us £75. I know it isn't cheap but it is worth it. We also went quad-biking through the desert, which again was incredible. You stop off at Bedouin camps, which basically means traveller but is cool. That cost us £35, so that was very reasonable. I seriously suggest that you go to this hotel. I'm not sure why people have been moaning about this hotel because you can't really go wrong. Yes, I admit it's not going to be like the Ritz but at the end of the day it is still a poor country, so you can't expect the best! Go! It's wicked!

I found this a helpful review because reading the other reviews put me off a bit. I have never been to a five star hotel, so as long as it is a good as a 3 or 4 star hotel in Spain, I will be delighted. Sounds great, I'm going in June '08!

I went to the LTI Grand Azure for Xmas 07 with my friend and our teenage kids and we had a great time. The hotel staff were fantastic and so friendly. Every one we met while we were in Sharm treated us so well, I can't wait to go back. We felt completely safe when we left the hotel at all times. It was one of the best holidays I have ever had. Yes, we all had jippy tummies at some point on the holiday but, it's no wonder, the amount we eat and drank.! So, I can't say there was anything bad about this Hotel or the Resort. All I can say is, we didn't want to come home, and we can't wait to go back.
