Stayed with my partner during July 2013 for a relaxing Spa break. Very impressed with the facilities, especially enjoyed the hydro pool with all of the different jets and seats. Health and Beauty treatments were very reasonable, hard to find an hour treatment for less than £30 in hotels elsewhere, and the therapists were all very good. We tried some of the sports facilities whilst we stayed, all in excellent condition, and great not having to pay any extra to use the facilities or to hire the equipment. Food was to a good standard and the room was fine considering how little time we spent in it. We would definitely visit again.

The girls and I stayed in the hotel for a relaxing break away from the city. The hotel was very nice and accommodating. We relaxed in the spa whenever we could and enjoyed the excellent service and friendly staff at the hotel. Defo recommend this hotel!

There were more than enough activities to keep the kids quiet. I'd definitely recommend staying at the Ashbury hotel if you're in the area, all our needs were met and we're looking forward to staying again in 2013.

My Husband and I are retired an live in the Lake District. We enjoy visiting the south and after hearing about the Manor House Hotel we decided to travel to Devon. It was wonderful not having to worry about anything during out week-long stay. We were fully taken care of and had lots of things to do. We tried our hands at Pottery and Candle Making among other things. The food was lovely and the evening entertainment kept us active all day long. We went home feeling relaxing and fulfilled, we'll have to stay here again!

The Ashbury hotel proved to be a good choice for me and my wife. We send the kids to stay with their grandparents (though it looks like they'd have enough to do here!) so we could relax and spend quality time together. There was lots to do at the hotel and a relaxing spa at the end of our stay was a great way to finish it. There are lots of indoor and outdoor activities and sports to do if you're the active type too.

We stayed here this Summer as we wanted to be in Devon to visit the family. Our kids had loads to do in the hotel so the wife and I could have our own holiday as well! The spa was great and the golf was even better. The service in the hotel was good and everything went according to plan, we're definitely going to stay here again.

Me and my wife had been planning a trip to Devon for a long time and wanted to make sure we had the best time possible. We booked Manor Ashbury Hotel for a week mid September after a hectic summer and we will certainly be going back!! Lovely accommodation, facilities and the food was fantastic. What a way to say goodbye to the summer, I hope to see all the staff at the Hotel again soon. Peter

The golfing facilities at Manor Ashbury are second to none. I booked my stay late September 2012 and got what I expected and more. Great hotel, great facilities - what more could a golf addict want!?

I organised a weekend break for my family, and wanted to make sure that everyone would have a great time.I chose Manor Ashbury hotel because of it's unrivalled facilities: golf, bars, leisure facilities and beautiful location. Well, what a trip it was, I haven't seen everyone in the family have such a good time together before and it's all because of you. All the staff were lovely and everything was just so...nice! Please book in for a stay, you won't regret it.

I booked at the manor ashury hotel for a golf weekend, the green fee is included in the booking fee...i thought it was too good to be true but when I got to the hotel I must say I was delighted. The staff, the rooms all perfect. I had a lovely weekend with my wife and have started recommending the hotel at my local golf club. Go, you will not be disappointed!

we have been coming here for about 4-5 years now is so amazing i think they have mostly relied on word of mouth business before as we had it recommended by someone at work then my mum and stepdad went for a weekend and literally raved about it and we have been back every year at least once if not 2-3 times. My neigbour who comes with us loves it so much that we tend to go there for his birthday and we go for the whole week! There is so much craft snd sport that you can do and they keep on adding to it you literally only have to pay for the items that you make in the craft centre or you can even bring your own if you think it will be too expensive or you have lots of things you want to make only costs 50p then to do the activity (thinking of glass painting/engraving.) I bought a pack of 6 pint glasses for 1.67 from asdas on the way down as it worked out cheaper than paying for 6 individual glasses. All the stuff that you make makes great christmas presents especially if its someone with an unusual name as you can make it with their name on it and only costs you a couple of quid. The rooms are not 5 star but they dont need to be as you are hardly going to be in them! they even have things to do in the evenings (bingo disco skittles quiz night and a casino night) after all the craft and sport you can shake a stick at during the day and you are still feeling energetic. (have to say last few times i have been have only made it out to the late night stuff a couple of times in a 6 night stay!) To the person saying that they can have a cinema somewhere if you look in the game zone you can see where they tried that they had a bit with bean bags and tellys but noone was using them so they took them out and put table football instead along with the 10 million other things to do... if you are really worried you used to be able to hire videos for the tellys so they can watch it in their room of an evening. the only downside to all this extra advertising going on is its soo much more busy so its tricky to get in the activities that you want to do unless you notice when they put up the new sheets... although saying that they will open up new sessions if they are needed just have to go and ask reception.

Loads to do and entertain the whole family. Most of the activities are indoors and so you are not affected by the weather. Food was good and prices at the bar very reasonable. You pay for nothing in terms of the activities on offer - they are all included in the price. Would definately recommend to those with children and adults looking for a fun filled action packed break.

Great activities for young and old, food was outstanding. Had an amazing holiday and enjoyed the activities available, struggled to fit in lunch because the kids and I wanted to do everything, found myself penciling lunch. Such a vast place it felt safe for me just to let my son pop down to the games zone when he wanted. I think a little cinema would have been a good idea for the kids in the evening, and an outside pool for those tired parents just to relax by the pool while the kids played. I love your place and I am looking forward to many more action packed holidays! Thank you for a lovely holiday and my kids haven't stopped talking about it!

awesome week had, spent most of it blagging on the archery, staff were very helpful and friendly and have since joined a local archery club. wife and kids had plenty to keep them occupied too. food was great and the rooms were comfortable, not over the top but your not in them long enough except to recover from all the activities. would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of going only critisism was being moved around to different tables for breakfast and dinner, supposed to have been on one all week but spent time keep having to find the table.

I have a 2 year old and a 7 year old both of whom get board very quickly so the manor house was great for us. The fact that they were able to give everything a go was fantastic. I would strongly recommend this holiday to anyone with or without children as there really is something for everyone.

Myself and my family have been going to the Manor house for over 10 years. We all love it and look forward to going back every year. We normally go just before Christmas, they do cocktail nights, Christmas dinner (a few days early) and have Christmas craft ideas to get you in the festive mood. The facilities have improved over the years with one swimming pool now having slides for the kids to enjoy therefore there is something for everyone. It is set with beautiful views so even if you feel like having a lazy day you have something to look at! Our family ranges between 5 and 80 and everyone enjoys it, we have even had the enjoyment of taking new members of the family over the years, so our group has grown and grown. This hotel is advertised as a 2* however the food and facilities are fantastic and the service is much better than a 2*. This place is a pure bargain, book whilst you can!! Everyone enjoys it and there really is something for everyone. The staff are always polite and helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We just returned from a fantastic summer break at the Manor House. We could not believe the huge variety of activities included in the price of the break. The only things we had to pay for were drinks and craft centre consumables - which might I add, were very reasonably priced. My partner and I and our children (aged 6, 10 & 13) thoroughly enjoyed are break - in fact we have already booked for next year!
