Disloyal

I've stayed at Britannia Hotel Bournemouth many times but have cancelled my next stay because the manager at Britannia Bournemouth has been showing an Ex of mine CCTV of myself and my new boyfriend to my ex and letting him know all the dates that I have been staying there.

Disgusting !!!!!

Britiannia Hotel Stockport, Service

The staff were not helpful - my husband is disabled - other customers were helping me with cases whilst staff watched. We paid for a two course dinner and was informed it was bar snacks only. The room was very basic.

Hahahah - What A Joke - How These Idio** Make Money - Oh

wait - its us, we keep on rebooking with them, so they keep taking our money, telling stories, ruining our short trips....

STOP BOOKING WITH THIS HOTEL GROUP

If you want to pay 10p a minute premium rate, that's fine.

If you want to be kept on hold while listening to ever longer recordings, at 10p a minute, to eventually giving up, having spoken to no-one at all.

Then this is the hotel (wrong use of word if ever there was one) group for you.

Their online system is even worse.

Just try booking 2+ rooms on same booking - haha you cant!

You have to call them, yep - 10p a minute - see above.

Just go to reviews here and other well known sites, check out real reviews by real guests of most of the shabby hotels (pun) in their group -BEFORE you book.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

- no good moaning later "wish we had listened...."

They are surviving on many "old grand names" of some of their hotels, see reviews on décor/age etc

They are NOT spending cash money on their hotels.

Im told its a Parent Co umbrella - the hotels are franchisee's paying Britannia to use that "well known/wellworn" name for wider/cheaper / group publicity, and the Britannia cream off cash from your booking cash, do nothing, don't spend a cent on the hotels -

its a spiral for disaster - Ive just googled earth the Britannia Head Office - so now we know where the money goes....

Do Not Stay At Britannia Birmingham

Stay at any other hotel but here, it's not worth it. It's 40 years out of date, round pin plugs in the room !!!!!they went out years back. The walls are paper thin, we will never stay at another Britannia hotel EVER!!!!

Could Do Better

Heathlands hotel in Bournemouth has the potential to be a superb hotel, BUT the décor is dated, the staff all eastern European which adds a language barrier.

our £90 double room didn't have a window!!

extremely hot with no aircon control

rock hard bed

concrete pancake pillows

Hotel advertises they have a pool, but this is over the road in a different hotel and there is a cost to use it!!

all else was clean and tidy

was disappointed because this could be a glorious hotel with a bit of TLC

Britannia Worst Hotel Group In The Country

Just been watching BBC Wales X-Ray and how a group of people were messed around by the Liverpool's Britannia Adelphi Hotel and booked into their hotel in Bournemouth instead. The pictures showed how filthy the place was. It brought back dark memories for me.

I've stayed at their hotels in Crawley and London Docklands. I stayed in Crawley a few times. The rooms were filthy and the service really bad. The last straw came when a couple were booked into the room I was staying in. They walked in on me when I was stark naked about to get into the shower.

I stayed only one night at London Docklands because I refused to stay any longer. The problems started before I arrived. I phoned up the night before to book. The person at the end of the line could not be bothered and just said there were plenty of rooms. I arrived at 8am before going to work and was told there were no rooms other than executive ones. i booked into one despite the cost. When I got in after work, it was not an executive room, it was filthy with boot marks on the bed sheets and wall and rain was coming through the windows. At dinner nobody could be bothered to serve me. In the end I left.

I would never touch this chain with a barge pole. The problems seem endemic through the whole group.
