We see the story of his existence unfold through his own eyes, not the flawed but charismatic Louis. A must for vampire lovers in general, and Ann Rice novels in particular.

The book is completely perfect, I loved it so much. She shows Lestat for what he truly is, a deep, beautiful creature, tormented and suffering he goes through, and the love hidden inside him. His adventures are thrilling as he tells us the story of his life. It makes you shiver, it takes you away into the dark world and era he was once in.
