Stay away from this "school". 1. Ask for their cancelation policy before you give them your payment information!! I tried to cancel the class and they stopped answering your calls, but will answer when you call from a number not linked to their system. The representatives refuse to provide you anything in writing stating they will not continue to charge your account. And become verbally aggressive if you ask more questions. 2. The teacher did not focus on the students' understanding or learning the material, she just wanted to get the class overwith. As she said it is 4am in Israel. As if the class scheduling was the students fault 3. They don't honor your schedule. I selected a class on their calendar according to my schedule and they changed it on the day of class without proper notification. Needless to say, the experience was negative in every aspect. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ORGANIZATION THAT ONLY WANTS YOUR MONEY. THEY COULD CARE LESS IF YOU LEARN ANYTHING OR NOT.

I signed up for the program in good faith, the sales person convinced me to pay now. Once I paid I never heard from them again. They took $2,000 of my money. It's sad that this company continues to exist. eTeacher is a complete SHAM. They do not answer customer service after you've paid and there are no actual teachers. This company should not continues to exist.

I email customer care that I would be withdrawing from the class. I did not attend but one class and do not want any refund of the 100.00 dollars I paid. Now you want the entire amount of the course that I will not be taking. Did I just get a very rude customer service person?

i really like this class. the video format makes me feel like i am in a real classroom. i love that there is homework, but i wish there was more homework or maybe an app in conjunction with the homework to make me more accountable. it is a bit pricey and they did not have the class times that would work the best for me, but i realize that is asking quite a bit. for the convenience of having a live class in your own home, it is worth it. caring staff and super convenient. highly recommend!

The topics are practical and the occasional review of materials covered in prior course keeps the knowledge previously acquired fresh. Good teachers. I would definitely recommend these classes.

El curso Hebreo para adultos 1, contiene una gran metodología del aprendizaje, toda vez que la pedagogía te va llevando a pasos cada vez mayores en el aprendizaje de esta lengua tan apasionante. Las clases son amenas y muy intuitivas, el material es de fácil acceso, las clases grabadas son de fundamental ayuda para repasar y su contenido es excelente. Si alguien quiere aprender a hablar hebreo moderno, ¡este es el curso ideal!

I enrolled in online their online course , yesterday July 26 paid $75/- as first installment, I enrolled and got the confirmation of the enrollment @ 7:48 AM I did not get the link to the course so I raised a ticket @ 8:17 AM They resolved the ticket @ 12:30 The refund policy as stated in their website is “Students who (pre) terminate their participation in the course, are entitled to a partial refund of the course tuition for that course as per the following stipulations: Up to 24 hours after the date of your registration you may receive a full refund. Between 24 Hours & 10 days following registration, you may receive a 70% refund of the total course tuition (Or completion of 30% of the total course tuition). No refund will be granted to those who submit their termination later than 10 days following registration (Or completion of 100% of the total course tuition).” I looked at the course it was very primitive in their teaching at best, worse than some of the free courses available online, A complete waste of money and time so I sent an email to cancel today July 27th @ 8:59 AM Please note that their cancellation policy states that up to 24 hours "after the date" of registration not from the date of registration so they should have given me a full refund of $75/- I paid. Instead they tried to hook me on to other courses when I refused they claimed that this cancellation was over 24hrs and charged me an additional $59.55 over and above the $75/- they charged me initially, and without authorization they illegally charged my credit card an additional amount of $59.55

I think this course is great. Languages have never been my strong point but, with the help of my professor and the class, I have learned a lot and continue to learn. I look forward to each and every class. The professor is awesome, she is very patient and explains things in terms that make sense. I like that we are in a group setting and are to talk with and interact with actual people. I tried another language program which was not interactive and did not have great results. I have enjoyed this class so much, I am thinking of going onto the next level.

I am well satisfied in the Ulpan course. Our teacher has the talent to analyse our ability to absorb new material, whether it is slow or fast, at the time being. In the learning process you have to push against limits of learning at least in some existence. A skilful teacher can give good training and help to avoid getting stuck. The members on our class are well motivated, educated and polite people. The unavoidable occasional clumsiness in training a new language does not even harm in the friendly atmosphere. Effective study is interactive. I have been positively surprised about the help given in Forum. Questions raise up and getting answers to them is a vital part for growing inside the Hebrew way of thinking. For Me joining the studies in Hebrew University of Jerusalem is also a practical way of supporting Israel. Shalom!

I was unable to "enter" my class which meets each week. I called Hebrew Univ. tech support and they immediately started working on the problem. Even though it took approx. 3 hours to figure out the problem, their patience and determination to resolve the issue was appreciated. I am very disappointed that I missed my class but ultimately the problem was with my browser and not with the Hebrew Univ. software. It is rare to call any tech support service and actually speak with someone immediately. However, the few times I have had questions or a problem the Hebrew Univ tech support team responded quickly...never transferring me to someone else....never putting me on hold for too long....never ending the phone conversation before completely addressing my concern. You can't beat that! Best tech support I've ever encountered!

Es un curso maravillo que ha hecho un cambio en vida, desde nuestras actitudes para comprender el día a día y el significado de cada palabra y sus raíces,,, y la manera de exponer la clase, clases especiales de dudas. Es algo muy hermoso esta experiencia, disfruto cada clase,, cada comentario, cada enseñanza,, y sobre todo.. el poder leer el idioma original no tiene palabras para describirlo, Gracias, es maravilloso todo el equipo de trabajo, se ocupan de todo lo mas mínimo detalle una nación unida eso es Israel y su curso lo refleja en todos los sentidos.

My teacher is a wonderfully patient lady. We cover an amazing amount of ground each class. When I am doing some chore that does not take a lot of thinking I go over words I know. The one really great thing about Hebrew is that most words are spelled as they are said. I work hard at trying to remember what has been taught but ta'ut a mistake happens. I am a naturally slow person. Still I am amazed at what I know. Thank-you eTeacher.

Apesar de que eu esteja repetindo ulpan 1, porque antes não consegui aproveitar em plenitude, percebo que desta vez terei aproveitamento real. Acredito que será suficiente para que eu não me perca em dificuldades de linguagem, quando for a Israel em fevereiro próximo.

I always look forward to our weekly meeting with Nurit Aviv and the other students in the class. She is a great teacher and also tries to help us with our technical issues. I would most certainly recommend these courses to anyone who has an interest in the Hebrew language, culture and history.

Very well designed program that teaches real life Hebrew. Teachers are native speakers and very conscientious. Certainly worthwhile for those who are keen to learn Modern Hebrew.
