Hi

We have been with Tesco Home insurance for a number of years without a claim but recently due to storm Doris we had to contact them with a 350 excess and bay roof sheet lifted off aswell as internal damages to that sheet being lifted off. The surveyor came out 8 weeks later had a look and decided it was due to wear and tear. So claim not valid but internal is covered 500 for decorating upstairs and downstairs plus few plastering bits aswell as inserting of noggins. Sent in builders reports regarding roof damage that it was due to storm Dorris they imperial consultants wouldn't not accept.I will not be insuring with Tesco again.
