I have been offered a random amount of £3,000 compared with an actual replacement cost of £10,300. No evidence has been offered in support of the derisory amount offered. Sham trying to fob me off without any explanation or justification. Do not expect this company to act in good faith.

Avoid this company if you want to retain your sanity they are dubious and look for any excuse to make sure you hit a brick wall when you make a claim. Avoid.

Cannot thank the SBS team enough for repairing my engagement ring. I was devastated to loose the sapphire from the centre of my ring and unable to find the stone anywhere! Via our insurance company SBS organised the repair in an efficient and friendly manner. I was kept in the loop the whole way through the process and was even given options on the colour of stone they used. The ring looks like brand new and now makes my wedding ring look grubby! Thank you so much.

After having our house broken into and finding that items of jewellery had been stolen, money and carpet damage. SBS dealt with the jewellery side of things, we were allocated a lovely lady,she was helpful, polite and friendly throughout the whole process. The jewellery I had taken was replaced in the form of a voucher and a ring having to be made. I am over the moon with the bespoke ring, it's beautiful. She provided a flawless, stress free process when dealing with our claim. Hope that she gets the recognition that she deserves. Keep doing the work that you do, in the way that you do. Thank you.

I lodged my claim on the Monday,was referred to SBS by NFU Mutual the same day and SBS had replaced my stolen tools by Thursday. These tools were not available on the open market for at least a month. Amazing service, polite,helpful advisers,what more can I say? 100% recommendation.

I would like to thank the adviser @ SBS Claims After my flat was broken into I had to make my first ever claim, where I was nervous, anxious and frankly very upset that my possessions had been stolen. Those amongst that was my much loved fishing tackle which I had work hard for and save a lot of money to afford these Items. I was gutted. But after speaking with this person, all my worries and issues were resolved making me feel a lot more happier and calmer about the situation. His cool, calm and professional approach made my life that much easier and I knew instantly my claim was in safe hands. His on time emails and calls, his friendly and helpful character got my issues and needs sorted straightaway with ease. As a fellow angler he knew the heart break it caused which gave my experiance with SBS a very highly rated one. A true professional at his job, and a true gent. Thanks a lot to him, I hope the company you work for realises what a great employee they have

“wont honor warrenty”

My insurance company use this company for their phones,(i have the top insurance that you can for a phone) in May i received a phone through my insurance company, and then 2 weeks ago it come on the screen NON GENUINE APPLE BATTERY inserted and the phone would not turn on.....i contacted SBS and they said it would be covered under my warrenty, i took photos of the phone before i sent it back the pictures they required and there WAS NO DAMAGE to the phone, ive now received email saying phone is damage, which it is, but this has been done during transit and im fuming with SBS for even insinuating that the damage was caused before hand which it wasnt and ive got the pictures to prove! And of course if the phone was damaged before hand i would have used my accidental clause for my insurance claim wouldnt I?? Im also not happy that it stated on the phone NON genuine apple battery when ive not had any work done on the phone, so they are obviously refurbushing phones without proper apple products totally unsatisfactory.and surely thats not what i pay a premium for. I have been in contact with my insurance company today and hopefully will get a proper response from them. totally disatisfied with there attitude. apple iphone 11

“Terrible service ”

My insurance company Directline passed my claim to SBS to handle. SBS have been completely unprofessional and incapable of offering any form of customer service. They have failed to contact me on numerous occasions, I have had to constantly chase them for updates. I Would not recommend this company and I am at a loss as to why such a reputable company like Directline would refer their customers to them. Shocking service

If damage to a carpet is in a few different places (due to a over enthusiastic siberian husky) what are sbs repairs like? Also, my own insurance company the Halifax did say that it I may be given options for example a cash settlement but this would be discounted heavily. Has anyone had a cash settlement instead and was it a fair price? Thank you for reading in advance.

My phone was sent away Thursday 26th June 2015 to have a screen repaired and I genuinely need it back by the 6th of July as I am travelling to America for 3 weeks and I suffer from stress anxiety, and not having my phone for the safety aspect does not help! I was wondering if there is any way this is possible? Any way to hurry the repair up. I really do need it back asap. I would appreciate genuine answers please.

Hi If they are aware of the urgency- they will usually do all they can to help - but they do have a 5 day turnaround - it may be worth giving them a call to see how things are going
