The home select package, which I was offered as a renewal of my previous year home insurance, came with an attractive price, but it did not include the accidental damage cover, which was in my previous year insurance. Reduction in scope of contract was clearly a strategy of Policy Expert to keep the price competitive. I did not like it and I found it as a bad example of customer service. I would have preferred a £10 higher price with the accidental damage cover included, which would have anyway positioned them ahead the competition.

Thanks for leaving us a review. When we offer you a renewal, it will always be on the same basis as the previous year. Therefore, if you had accidental damage cover included last year, this would have been included in the renewal quotation. I am keen to look into this for you to establish why you believe that this was not the case but unfortunately, I am unable to locate your policy with the details provided.
