We ordered these wiltshire farmfoods meals with puddings, and if you like old fashioned British Meals then there are very few complaints with the food and being veggie a nice range too. Sadly the containers they come in are very brittle and thus when they are being thrown around and boxed etc some end up broken. This then makes them a health hazard as well as unpalatable. But that's OK cos they have a deal if you have a complaint they will replace it & give you another free. This worked ONCE...thereafter the old grump in the office made it quite clear they thought we were up to no good and even got the poor old delivery man (nice and polite but a bit too keen on the script) in future to check each and every meal by taking them out of the box, adding something like 15mins to his trip, and making us hang around. They then no longer wanted to honour the *free* item and just wanted to replace it, which would have been fine but that was not the deal.
In the end we had to let them go after three or four visits due to the very poor customer service, they really never saw a problem in brooken cartons. Given the vulnerable people these usually go out to, OAPs etc I would say it was a serious issue. Apetito who run the franchise system didnt care either.
The plastic containers are probably fine and strong before freezing, but once frozen they become extremely brittle and prone to breaking, leaving holes in them and also plastic slivers in the food which is a health concern and hazard in anyones book apart from wiltshire farmfoods who really did not care.
Shame.

All the cartons delivered to me were fine, no problems at all, even after cooking. I would suggest refusing delivery of damaged items and if the person receiving the deliveries is unable to do so then ensure someone else is available to check the.
